Wow room!
Amazing room, definite wow factor. Very clean, lovely shower and very comfy bed. Nice also to have a fridge in the room. The room was very hot though but equipped with a fan. Excellent food in the pub and very friendly staff. Look forward to staying again.

The rooms are lovely and the bathrooms have heated floors. Our plane left early on our checkout date so the staff packed us a breakfast to go.

Very Comfortable Stay
I enjoyed my two night stay at the Star Inn. It is located on the Moray Firth near to Inverness Airport. My room was clean and comfortable, and the service particularly from Katie very good. I enjoyed a delicious breakfast the first morning and on the second given a packed breakfast as my London flight left at 7.05am. I did visit the bar on Saturday night but it was too rowdy to stay. Perhaps a quieter area for hotel guests would be appreciated.

Soft landing after arriving at Inverness airport.
This is a cute place. Clean and comfortable. They were kind enough to allow us to check in early due to an early flight into inverness. The pub has decent food and is quite active - be sure to make a dinner reservation when you check in (check-in is in the pub)/

Cool local traditional pub, good food; fun times. Notice the bar carpet, it’s a Stuart Royal tartan of course; just down the road the airport and Culloden battlefield.

I love the down home feel. It’s by no means a luxury resort but the friendliness and neighborhood feel we’re exactly what I was looking for. The breakfasts are amazing and the dinners served at the pub are quite nice. I stayed here 2 years ago and loved it then as well. They did make one small change, moving the evening dining space out of the pub and into the breakfast area, which I wasn’t a fan of. I really liked the integrated feel better, but it’s a small thing.

It was a little warm in the rooms, but that could be due to the time of the year, very unpredictable. The staff was amazing and it was very close to the airport, which was so important when you have a 6 am international flight. The food next door at the pub was a great ending to an amazing trip. The pub was very friendly and provided a true experience. Highly recomment

Charming and Close to the airport.
Loved this place! We had the 2 bedroom accommodations and it worked nicely for us and our friends. This was our first stop after arriving at Inverness Airport. It was well located and we could just relax and start getting over our jet lag.

We booked the Ardersier Alma for our last night in Scotland. We arrived in the evening and immediately found the property which is on a very quaint street right near the ocean. Parking was a bit tight but we were fortunate to find an empty on-street space directly in front of our room. It was a little difficult to find where to check in but once we entered the restaurant/pub of the same name across the street the staff welcomed us immediately and showed us over to our room personally. The room was a little on the small side but was very clean and modern and was very secure. We had a great dinner in the restaurant and were able to check out extremely early the next morning by leaving the key in the room. Overall, it was exactly what we wanted.

Nicely remodeled, close to airport.
The check in is a little odd in that you basically go to the pub and the bar tnder shows you to your room. The outside is pretty nondescript but the rooms have all been recently remodeled to a very high standard with 40 inch TV's, comfortable beds, and beautiful bathrooms. Another benefit is the close proximity to the airport (6 min drive).

A great night before an early flight
We chose this inn for its proximity to the Inverness airport as we had a very early flight. We could not have been more pleased by the amenities and the services. The room was large and welcoming - the only low point was that the 4 windows were wide open, so it was cold when we settled in. The heating system through the floor is not adjustable with the thermostat, so it slowly warmed up all evening and we had to leave before it was really warm. We enjoyed the cozy bar atmosphere before appreciating a delicious dinner - making this "Star Inn" a memorable stop way above any "airport hotel" we ever had to choose.

Find another place to stay!
The hotel had an old-fashioned vibe which would have been great if it wasn't so worn. The rooms were missing light bulbs, were dusty, and had mold in the bathroom. Although we were a guest at the hotel we were not allowed to eat in the restaurant due to a bus trip. We had to eat at the bar and the bartender did his best to help us but the menu did not list all the items included. We ended up with tomato relish on the hamburger for a family member allergic to tomatoes. The bartender attempted to have the chef remake it but he refused. The manager was nasty and rude to both the bartender and my family.

Room and attached pub & restaurant were great. My only criticism is that the room was really hot and the heating wasn't adjustable. We weren't comfortable leaving the windows open as it was a ground floor room next to the street.

August 2019 - Great stay.
We had a very nice stay thank you. Some feedback which may help for future bookings is that due to the hot weather, the room - which was very compact got incredibly hot and uncomfortable overnight. Perhaps some fans within each room would help during the summer months? Our evening meal and breakfast were both excellent with great service also. Thank you.

You feel like you are in a different world even though we were only a few minutes outside of Inverness - and very close to the airport, which is what we had looked for. It is a nice village, great food & service at the pub across the road and the room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Highly recommend!

This guest house has to be stayed in if you get the chance Such a tranquil setting at the side of a sleepy bay Everything taken care of superbly Great bed, great en-suite shower lovely clean surroundings with little touches of magic and glitter Breakfast at the star Inn in the morning was amazing home cooked loveliness and very filling with plenty to offer We both enjoyed our stay here very much and excellent value for the money we would highly recomend staying here you wont be disappointed

Very close to Inverness airport, & nice to have the restaurant nextdoor, so handy, but the mattress was terrible! Basically slept on springs. Worst thing was when they walked another guest into what we thought was our space for the night @ 10:30pm & said this complete stranger was staying there too. We thought we had the 2 BR apartment to ourselves, they never told us we'd be sharing. And for what we paid we shouldn't have. Very akward for everyone. If we didn't have to get up @ 4am for an early flight we would have complained then. Staff were friendly & packed us breakfast baggies since we had to leave before breakfast time, but they left out a very key bit of information when we checked in. & Just walking in without knocking on a couple on their anniversary trip is never a good idea!
