Family fun at the shore
Modern, bathed in natural light, and located directly across from the bay beach with incredible views of the Melbourne skyline and diverse birdlife, Grassy Point Beach House is a hidden treasure of the Bellarine Peninsula.

This stunning double story home is ideal for families; it offers 2 living areas, fully equipped kitchen with Bosch appliances (1 x bar frig u/s & d/s in laundry, 1 x bar freezer u/s), 2 master QS bedrooms upstairs with sliding doors to the sundeck, 2 bathrooms, one on each level (2 showers, 1 bathtub, 2 toilets), a further 2 bedrooms downstairs with bunks, hot outdoor shower, Weber BBQ and large wrap-around outdoor entertaining decks (upper and lower). Self check-in via a key safe.

Nestled between Portarlington and St Leonards, it's close, but not too close, to local shops and cafes. EPA data shows our beaches have some of the cleanest water in Port Phillip Bay and is evidenced by the abundance of sea & birdlife all around. A boat ramp is located across the road from Grassy Point, bike paths will take you as far as you'd like to go. Edwards Point Reserve in St Leonard's offers some amazing woodland hiking trails. There are snorkeling and dive sites all around the bay.

Only a 90km drive from the city! Portarlington ferry return service to Docklands (1hr 10 min) - - has also been a gamechanger for tourists, commuters & local businesses. Alternatively from Melbourne take the V Line train to Geelong (35 km away), and jump on a bus that drops you off very close to the house. The historic town of Queenscliff (ferry service to/from Sorrento) and Point Lonsdale surf beach are only a short car ride away. Well-known vineyards such as Jack Rabbit & Terindah Estate, The Whiskery, Basil's Farm, Tuckerberry Farm, PIKNIK cafe, Pucci's cafe, Blues Train, and Portarlington golf course are also nearby. The town of Portarlington has a Woolworth's supermarket, The Bakehouse, Pier Front Pizza (all are highly recommended), beautiful sheltered north-facing bay beaches, a pier with fresh mussels for sale ($6/kilo!), and is perfect for safe swimming and fishing. St Leonard's, a 10 min drive to the south, also has a pier, fishing, playground, IGA, shops, an iconic hotel and numerous cafes.

No matter what the season, if you decide to just spend the day curled up on the couch with a good book and an amazing view, or on the deck with a group of friends and a glass of wine, you won't be disappointed!

Quick family get away
The communication was great and super easy. We were travelling with our two kids (under 5) - the accomodation was perfect with amble room and amazing views. We scooted and walked along the track out the front, the beach unfortunately was covered in seaweed (like crazy everywhere but we’d had a lot of rain prior) - but there was so much to do in the area!!! We headed to Portarlington for a meal and a play on the beach there (great cafe right on the beach there) and a great pier to walk along. We also headed out to the Mussel cafe for dinner which was great for kids (we sat in an outdoor area which was covered in, with heaters - so don’t be afraid of going when it’s cold/wet). We also had an early dinner at Jack Rabbit one night, which is so child friendly - so highly recommend!! We also checked out the lighthouse near Portarlington...and the beach there was also awesome and we spent a few hours down there. We had lots of fun!!

Beautiful views
Our visitors all commented on the beautiful views especially from the upstairs living area. Family were appreciative of the two living areas and the convenience and design of the home.

A little paradise
This is a perfect little spot to relax. There were a few issues with new cleaners that Zelinda the owner was extremely wonderful about (not her fault either). So I expect that will be rectified and the place will be beautiful. We will go back for sure. Perfect for friends and family, younger children, kayaking. Thank you Zelinda
