I loved the property The staff was so kind and I couldn’t have asked for a better honey/baby moon. Everything was easy to book. Everyday between turn down service and morning service was great. That always made sure we are comfortable and everything was clean. It is expensive the restaurants and parking ( especially if you are staying on property) I would go back again.

Best property on the island. Get a Dolphin view if possible as the 3 dolphins onsite were special. We did not get an opportunity to try the Japanese or Italian restaurants but they looked amazing. The Buffett to the two bars were awesome. This property exceeded my expectations with their private beach access. Having Jason at Hertz rental onsite was a new level of customer service. Lastly, Bruno Mars uncle performed in their lounge as we nightcapped over desert and tea. He was amazing! I can’t not say enough about this property… so so much better than the Sheratons and outriggers which I consider the carnival cruise properties of Ohau. This place was special.

Very nice boutique hotel at city centre of Honolulu. The private golf course has nice ocean view. Recommend to book the golf course ahead of time (at lease two weeks in advance to hold a spot because it’s fully occupied).

The staff were excellent. Parking options are expensive and there is no free parking close to resort. The dining options are also expensive and there no vending machines!

The room was fantastic, spacious and clean. The bathroom was exceptionally large. The bed was very comfortable, made up perfectly. We got a view of the golf course and mountain frombthe large lanai whic wasngreat to have breakfast on

The location was very nice - but the service is hit or miss and the property is lacking in a number of areas. We were not offered information to orient us to the property and available services. If the weather is chilly or windy, guests must remain in their room since the property does not offer general indoor locations to relax - other than expensive restaurants.

One of the most memorable and beautiful resorts we have been too. The staff was amazing and all the amenities in this hidden gem were wonderful. The dolphins in their own environment was such a treat to see every morning. The hotel is older but exudes Old world Charm that many will appreciate. Mahalo until our next visit ❤️

First time visiting Hawaii and loved the location, away from the crazy busy Waikiki area. The staff at resort were friendly and helpful. Loved our view of the lagoon with the dolphins.

The quiet atmosphere was appreciated! Lovely friendly staff. Pool area is too limited. People coming to pool area and securing chairs then disappearing for hours!😩 food choices are also too loud and some closed two days a week!

The property is located in a tranquil location, which is unique. However, we are moderately disappointed. 1. The unforeseen 2am false alarm during our stay was anything but a pleasant experience. 2. The facility is in desperate need of modernization and refurbishment. 3. The breakfast menu lacks diversity, as it merely mirrors the offerings available on the buffet, but at a notably higher price point. One might reasonably question why this redundant option is even offered separately. 4. Despite being labeled as "family-friendly," there is a noticeable lack of facilities catering to children. Only a small baby pool and dolphins. This oversight is frankly disappointing. 5. The parking lot does not provide an elevator to the lobby, posing an inconvenience for guests with heavy luggage or mobility challenges.

Fortunately this was determined to be a non-emergency, as we always have the safety of our guests in mind. With our phased refurbishment of the guest rooms we are excited to provide an elevated experience going forward. Sorry as well you didn't get to experience our kids friendly activities such as art class, Hula dance, lei making, ocean life education, etc. which we offer complementary to our guests. The Kahala was wonderful! This resort is beautiful, it’s classy, it’s quiet, it’s secluded. The staff is so friendly and courteous! The beach is peaceful and has plenty of room and is not crowded like other resorts Everyone is different, and this resort was one of the nicer ones I have been blessed to stay. I imagine that a lot of folk could not say the same thing, but for us, it was over the top The grounds were so well kept and here in Hawaii I think a lot of folk have a late flight departure, but Kahala has a place to keep your luggage after check out and they have a hospitality area for you to freshen up before you leave inThe late evening. Thank you Kahala for the great time, I hope we get to return ! Mahalo 🙏

Rooms need some upgrade. The carpets are dirty and stained. We also asked for an upgrade for our room or giving a room on upper level but the only option that was available had 400$ differences per night. So basically there was no option provided to us.

This resort can easily be the most incredible vacation destination on Oahu. The staff is amazing, friendly and accommodating. The restaurants are superb. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are a couple of things that were not positive. First and foremost, you need to understand that this is a luxury hotel and NOTHING is inexpensive. Food is good but very overpriced. The spa is a little scattered with the therapy rooms separate from check in which is the other side of the resort from the fitness center and steam rooms and spa tubs. But the most noticeable issue is the pool. It is completely overrun by kids. There is nowhere to rest peacefully or relax. The hot tub is always filled with screaming 8 year olds and the pool area is also kid dominated. That is wonderful if you are traveling as a family. But if you are doing a couples romantic getaway, you will not be happy at the pool… so said many to us as we tolerated the kids. It would be wonderful if the pool attendants just managed the hot tub or asked the kids parents to control their own. It would be amazing if they made a few cabanas to isolate a little. But honestly without an actual “adult only” pool… for the money, I will probably go somewhere else next time. Which is sad, because I love this resort.

Beautiful hotel, in a nice location; we didn’t receive the upgrade for vip status. Limited options for dining or having a coffee or a little Something at the hotel. Music only Thurs-sat Hot tub very small for the amount of people. Very expensive hotel that doesn’t offer amenities accordingly. Nice staff.

This was our second stay at The Kahala. The hotel is calming and serene. Fabulous service and old-world charm. The beach and pool area are beautiful, and staff are always friendly and accommodating. Perhaps there could be an increase in availability at food at night especially given the hotels distance from the main strip. Of course, the gorgeous dolphins are lovely and a treat!

Beautiful property, great beach and warm heated pool, dolphins fun to watch and all staff friendly and exceptional service, Stephanie Oona, in pool cafe area was especially helpful. She gave my autistic son her can of diet coke for our room fridge afterI asked her if there was any convenience store at hotel to buy soda or other beverages (no there is not--very inconvenient and my one complaint.)

The food at this restaurant is terrible by and large, and extremely expensive. The buffets are not refreshed often enough, meaning the food is cold and congealed. Unfortunately, there are no restuarants off property that accessible without a van ride or Uber into Waikiki, about 15 minutes.
