The staff is fantastic! They let us leave our bags and check in early. They always had fresh beach towels. The pool is the size of s stamp. There is a pretty koi pond near the check-in, which feels really special, tropical and local.
The location is good enough. It's a quick walk to the beach. There is a pupu bar below and they party (karaoke) until 3:30, so you need to keep the door to the balcony closed.
The bathroom is one star. The skink faucet leaks all over the counter, the toilet "runs", you get 2 bath towels to start, the tub was oval and didn't fit a grown man and was stained (but clean).
The view was of the street, nothing special.
The breakfast is not "continental". It's all brown...cereal, toast, waffles, muffins, cup of fruit. Nothing fresh.
This is one instance where you get what you pay for.
