The breakfast was surprisingly good and the staff was very gentle. We needed a scale to check the weight on our bags and they took us to an area where they let us check and adjust our baggage. The view was fantastic and loved the distribution of the room. The location is also great; just a few blocks away from Causeway bay station and plenty of local business and dinning options. It was a great and enjoyable stay.

Rosedale hotel is convenient located, walkable to both causeway bay and Tin Hau MTR. The hotel has a good view of Victoria park skyline if you are on high floor. The staffs are friendly, the hotel might looks bit old, however, the room is clean and well kept. The breakfast spreads are not as much as the international one but I find is good enough and top-up is frequent and area was kept clean too. Overall is a nice good hotel to stay.

It is under renovation, however, we did not hear any construction noises. The location is super convenient, lots of stores and restaurants. Buses and trams are 2 minutes away and subway is just a short walk from the hotel. Service from the hotel is unbeatable and hotel staff is courteous and helpful in giving directions.

It's at the heart of Causeway Bay opposite to the Victoria Park, great for Chinese New Year flower market. So close to 2 MTR stations: Causeway Bay and Tin Hou, and plenty of bus stations along the cross streets.

The breakfast menu lacks variety and requires improvement. The hotel room is compact. The hotel staff at the reception counter lacks general knowledge about transportation. The hotel is situated a considerable distance from the MTR.

They should improve on their breakfast menu. The staff at the reception counter (ground floor) lacks knowledge on the HK transport system. Especially on the Uber taxi system.

Dirty , smelly , holes in towels, noisy building work , cleaner noisy outside room every morning . Not 4 star but cheap and Staff friendly , great location.

We forgot to check the wardrobe when we checked out and put my coat in there. I called the hotel three hours later and they told me they didn't have my coat. It was the only coat I had in Hong Kong. I was very doubtful about their loyalty and very disappointed.

Good average hotel, reasonably priced.
The location was central, and the staff were helpful. I would stay there again. It was reasonably priced, and there were some reasonable restaurants nearby. The buffet breakfast was also handy. AX

A not so good experience! The hotel has a nice reception area, but once you stepped out of the elevator. A r weird smell hit you right away. The smell is more like old rotten wood. The room is even worse since it is in small space. You can’t open the window. The bathroom is small, the shower curtain is the old linen white ones which stained badly at the bottom. They charge $500 HKD for security deposit which is the first time happened to us for all other HK properties that we stayed before. The room hardly has any things that worth $500. They don’t give bottle water but a thermo said distilled water. Expedia should review the hotel and honestly it’s not a 2 stars property except the front desk area.

It is a convenient location. The room is having high ceilings and spacious. In general, the decorations and the building are old. First time we stayed, it was quiet. This time was a bit noisy at times either from next door or from the corridor.

The room had this musty smell that would give you a headache. The guests in the room across ours had children screaming at 1 in the morning. I tried to call the front desk many times to report and complain but no one was picking up.

Hotel location is good, traffic is convenient, breakfast is ok. Only problem :Wi-Fi too slow, sometimes spend 30 minutes to log on.

The front desk staff overall is polite & helpful & the luggage storage option is pretty flexible ! The room is pretty clean but the bathroom is a little small & towel is not appropriately supplied !

Check in and check out went smoothly. Staff for the most part speak both Cantonese and English. View from my room wasn't the greatest, but that's ok, I wasn't in my room for long stretches of time. Some of the furniture and room decor would be a bit dated for some people. Being in Hong Kong, room is a bit small, but it's to be expected. Location is pretty good, located within walking distance of Tram stop and across from Victoria Park and the harbor. Subway station is a bit farther, around 800 meters or so, but walkable. Nearest 7/11 is about 500 meters away. There are some drop off Laundry places nearby, but the closest do it yourself Laundry place is about two Tram stops over heading East. Breakfast is a mixed Continental format with some Asian and Western style meal, but very good for what it is. Overall recommended.
