Great venue for a one night stop, with good pub/restaurant on site. Plenty of parking, quiet comfy room, the only negatives were check in wasn't manned and I had to queue behind a big group ordering food in the pub to speak to a member of staff and then had to wait for the duty manager to be called to come book me in, also the toilet roll holder in the bathroom was broken and sitting on the floor. One other suggestion would be to install peep holes in the bedroom doors, for better security for guests.

The main building was locked overnight which was inconvenient. The wifi didn’t necessarily reach the rooms (which is fine with a heads up). Overall good. Wait staff was great as was reception.

Cigarette butts on worn out mat, heater not running properly, no milk in fridge and no soap. Bed was comfy and front staff very pleasant. Hair dryer not working but was replaced straight away

Good for a short stay
Sufficient for a couple of nights traveling through Tasmania. Dinner in the bistro upon our arrival was convenient. Sliding door to outside ‘patio’ area was unstable and came out of the groove. Bedside lamps kept short circuiting. Good that the room was equipped with a coffee machine and microwave

This is the second time have stayed at shoreline. Failties are good and the meals and staff were very good. My only criticism if I was to share one was the room was a little noisy as I could here the neighbours TV etc. Good off street parking and I was driving a transit Van.

Reception hours limited.
This is a motel attached to a pub and drive through bottle shop. I didn’t look at the check in time, but should have!!! I had a major issues as I got there not long before 10pm and the doors were all locked. I tried calling, no answer at first. Eventually someone answered and let me in. I’d never been to Hobart previously and had no idea where I was. Being a single female it wasn’t a good thing. The guy thought I was just a no show! He didn’t try to call to check. The next day the Manager contacted me and couldn’t have been more apologetic. She was fabulous and very unhappy with the worker from the night before. She’d listened to my frantic messages on their message Bank. They more than made up For the tough start and looked after me very well.

Great price and although the room wasn’t luxurious it had a microwave, fridge, kettle and dishes. Lots of space. Very clean. We checked out after 7 am and thevwhole hotel was locked up. We just left the key in the room. That was different. I would stay here again. Great view of Hobart from the other side of the bay.

Leave your luggage in your car until after you have checked in because the rooms are around the back and you will have to drive around there. The rooms have a great view of Mt Wellington and the Casino across the river. Breakfast only available at 9.00am which is too late.

The room and staff were great, but as I was here on business I found breakfast did not start until 9am and I had to leave before then. I have stayed here before over Summer and breakfast started at 8am. Although enjoyable I felt a bit rushed to get to my destination by 9am.

I love staying here when I travel to Hobart, it is local to my customers and is conveniently located next to a small shopping centre with all facilities required. There is also a resturant and cafe on site.
