A nice spot to stay close to the docks in Hobart. Was great to stay early January and for New Year's celebrations too. Tours we booked often picked us up from the Hotel or from a spot a short walking distance away.

Very efficient check-in, property close to waterfront, fully equipped kitchen, water views, great restaurant (but remember to book as it's very popular), guest parking , large rooms

I ended up booking The Woolstore because my original accommodation cancelled my reservation last minute. I am so grateful as I believe The Woolstore was a better option in the long run. The room was clean, large, and had more ammenities than we ended up needing. There were two elevators, which was super helpful. My room was near the elevators and it was very quiet. Staff were polite and helpful and the room refreshed daily.

Location is excellent and the one bedroom apartment was huge. Staff are friendly. Walking distance to supermarket and local attractions Christmas dinner in the restaurant was lovely. Kitchen should have a few microwave containers. Would stay again

Old Woolstore Hotel has become my favourite Hobart base - thank you! The 10th floor apartments are clean, comfortable and well equipped, with a nice outlook. Easy access to the waterfront and all of the city’s offerings. Staff are welcoming and efficient.

Worth the stay..
Beds are super comfortable.. I stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment which I feel is really good size. The furnitures are dates but at least they are clean..

Hotel was very clean and quiet. Great one block from harbor. Skybus from airport stops right out front. Staff very helpful. I had an early arrival and needed them to hold several pieces of luggage which they gladly accommodated and placed in my room so I could go tour. Then as I had an evening flight and tour booked on my last day they again gladly held my luggage

As good as always!
We have stayed here a few times now in a one bedroom apartment each time. Lots of space to stretch out, good kitchen and washing machine/dryer. Bedroom spacious and good King size bed. Staff are nice at front desk and housekeeping. Excellent location to waterfront activities, short walk to CBD, Salamanca Place etc. Lots of eating options nearby and a Woolworths. Parking good if you have a car.
