We had wonderful 3 nights stay last week at this hotel. What a contemporary sleek property with awesome harbour views and awesome on-site restaurants and bars. The concept of story telling hotel was so unique and also felt like living in a museum. So much to see and do around the place as well. Highly recommended!! The only downside is that there’s no swimming pool or bath tub :(

Fantastic location, ambience and rooms. Bathrooms were ok, water pressure in the shower wasn’t great. The staff are just lovely - particularly the check in staff - but slow on service in the lounge: forgetting to come back to us to order once, significantly delayed on another occasion (they had forgotten our order). Restaurant is nice but same issues with service. Our pasta was cold and they had forgotten the wine I had ordered to have with my dinner. It is a beautiful place to stay though.

Beautiful hotel, very large rooms beautifully appointed. Only negative was the room was a little too dark. They could have used a magnifying mirror.

Had a great time at this hotel. The room was large and very clean. The staff are wonderful and very friendly. The story bar was fantastic and had magnificent views.There was loads of places to eat and drink within the hotel . The staff in the bar were very friendly and welcoming. This hotel is highly recommended.

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful hotel. Exceeded our expectations. Great hotel, great location in Hobart. The staff are also wonderful, nothing was too much trouble. I left my phone charge lead in valet parked car - no problem, collected it for me while we had dinner! Big thanks

Amazing stay at Macq 01. Stayed during a week long Tassie trip for our final night and was an amazing way to finish the trip. Location is amazing on the water with everything walkable. Parking is easy and staff were incredible in going above and beyond. Would absolutely stay here for all future Hobart trips.
