Clean room. Despite being near Bui Vien, a happening and lively area, it was quiet. Quite easy to get food as there are some restaurants in the area. Excellent staff service. I had a hard pillow to sleep on the first night, but all I had to do, was tell the reception and it's change. Really happy with everything...

Superior in this price group
Very good room for the price. Great service. Towels and sheests have seen their best days (stains) allthough they were washed. The curtain didn't block the light in the morning. Noise from the street not too bad. Noise from the hallway disturbed more easily.

The Sunny Guest House is great value for money. The staff were excellent and so helpful. The location is right in the middle of all the action only a 100 mtrs from Walking Street and about 300 mtrs from the underground Central Markets. The room was surprisingly quiet considering it was so close to everything and included a good bathroom with shower, fridge, TV, WiFi and plenty of space in the room.

We returned to this place because of the service, first and foremost, and because of the location. It’s just a few meters away from the party scene, but far enough down the alley that you don’t hear it at night. I absentmindedly left my travel journal in a tour van. Queen, a guesthouse staff member, went above and beyond to arrange a delivery driver to bring it back to me. Her exceptional kindness is what brought us back to this guesthouse in the first place. If the world had more of her, it would be a better place.

Clean, quiet & safe hotel
Great clean hotel down a little alley full of good food. Park on one side, loud backpacker street on the other. Hotel is quiet and staff is super friendly and helpful. I'll be staying here again before I leave Vietnam. Felt safe as a solo female traveler.

The staff was wonderful and helpful. The room very clean and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The location was great, with wonderful restaurants nearby. Overall value was great, the feel was like it was a new hotel or recently refurbished! I will stay here again if ever back in the area!

Right in the heart of everything.
The staff were very friendly and offered information about the area as soon as we got there. The rooms were spacious and clean. Only complaint was the bed was hard but that is usually the case in SE Asia. Good quality for money.

Our home in Ho Chi Minh
We stayed at Sunny Guest House for 6 nights during TET. All the staff were friendly. We were very happy with our room, good wifi. Vietnamese coffee and tea available in reception. The hotel is down a small alley between two busy roads. We always felt safe. Even though it is just a few steps to Bui Vien party road, it was surprisingly quiet in the hotel at night. Lots of tasty street food in the alley & delicious fruit smoothies. Also close to markets and bus station. Already booked our next stay at Sunny Guest House.

Great staff, great acomidations, great location, book upper back rooms, quiet, all the time. A very cool Locals come out at nite Park is across the street,, and there’s food and shops every where....Hotel is 2 blocks to Ben Thrah Market. OH The beers in the alley shops are under a buck US. But 1 block away are THE LARGE BARS AND CLUBS,, THEY ARE MORE EXPENSIVE AND LOUD MUSIC PARTY JOINTS. You literally can walk everywhere. ✌️❤️🤣

Quiet street which is near to backpacker area. Walk to street food and food court, bus station, pubs or everywhere else within 10 mins. Guest house is family owned therefore they pay attention to guests' needs and take care of their welfare. Will stay there again.

Clean hotel, friendly and helpful staff- they booked excursions for us as well as taxis and it was never a problem. We booked thinking there was a breakfast but there wasn't, but there's plenty of places nearby to grab something to eat. Only downside was whilst we were there they were redoing the path way to the hotel and building (something?) opposite the Sunny guest house which made our stay quite noisy and not too attractive - however the hotel itself was clean and the staff friendly.

Great find & great value.
Hi, I booked in for one night at the end of a group tour. The location is right in the middle of everything and you can walk to the War Museum, market etc easily. They couldn't have been more helpful with info before I arrived and organizing a taxi for when I left. If you want something comfortable, clean, safe, away from the noise of the main street but still close (which only gets louder as the night goes on) then I can't recommend here enough.

Overall nice accommodations mixed neighborhood
Coming into the guest house a bit disconcerting, it is buried in an alleyway near walking street, but facilities are great. The walk involved so many little shops restaurants and smalll businesses, that at first was uncertain that I would find it but everything was surprisingly well done. The WiFi is spotty and at times non existent but otherwise it was a good value.

Great stay
Great location within the city between two major nightlife streets. Lovely family owned but we were on 4th floor - was so many steps! No coffee in room had to get it in lobby. Very helpful - asked for hair dryer no problem. Water wasn’t hot for showering but the air conditioning was fantastic. Bed was comfortable and room and general areas very clean. Would definitely recommend this place.

Great Hotel in the Pham Ngu Lao area
The hotel is down an alleyway between Pham Ngu Lao Street and Walking Street in District 1 and so is pretty quiet apart from some scooters passing by. The staff were very welcoming and offered plenty of help and assistance. The room was very comfortable with excellent bathroom hot shower and toilet facilities plus AC and cable TV. The hotel has some excellent places nearby to try the local food. I would definitely stay there again.

Clean friendly place to stay
The owner is a very friendly English speaking man. This guest house is his livelihood and it shows. I arrived late with a big bag I rolled down Hem 241 as it is not wide enough for a car. When I arrived the owner was there and quickly copied my passport and took me to my room. He carried my bags for me to the room. My cell phone needed to be topped up so he ran down the street to get a phone card with100,000 dong and brought that to my room. The room was well lit, clean, the beds were extremely comfortable. The air conditioner was very quiet. The bathroom was modern with toothbrush and soap provided. The room was quiet with no loud street noise or music from discos. It was easy to get a good nights sleep. If you have never been to Vietnam before I would suggest taking advantage of the hotels offer to be picked up at the airport. It was an excellent value and I will return.

Great Location
Perfect location near the popular areas in district 1. The AC didn't work very We'll, but combined with a fan it was ok. No elevator, so it may be a problem for people who have trouble with many stairs. My wife and I loved it.

Exciting, kooky A+ location/ good guesthouse!
There are a million cheap guest houses in the winding, enchanted back alleys of Ho Chi Minh and this is probably one of the nicest ones. I'm a solo American female traveller and felt totally safe. It was clean and comfortable. Good Wifi, air conditioning and hot water. Awesome two minute walk to the craziest, most colorful exciting city streets I've ever been on -- and I'm from NYC! Def stay here. Try to get the rooms with terraces if possible -- I wish I'd been in the front of the building.

Comfortable accomodation
The room is very clean. All staff are very friendly, helpful, even thought the cleaning lady. Actually, all are good, except the water flow of shower is too slow, and the location is in the small road, but its quite than the main road.

Good location, can take bus 109 from airport
Do not take bus 152, you will not able to find the little allies to walk to guest house. Bus 109 take you right at the door of Lele hotel, then you just walk couple min to the guest house.
