I really liked the hotel & the staff were very helpful and friendly.. the only things I didn’t like was that my hotel room didn’t have a window & you had to walk 200 yards to their other hotel for breakfast..

SaigonCiti is right at the center of Ho Chi Minh city and is only a few steps from the famous Bui Vien Walking Street. This location is very convenient and is walkable to all the popular places in the city The Breakfast buffet is also very good. They even have Pho too I have stayed at many hotels, but this place has the very awesome staff. Especially the girl name Trang. She's very cute and very nice to the guest. I will definitely stay here again next year when I come back to Vietnam

The staff was great. The rooms walls were dirty. Air conditioner works slow and horribly.The bed seemed clean. No Windows. Feels very confined. Like a cell. I will not return. Hotels need to be honest. I am learnkng a lot from my stays while using this app.

The location is fantastic. It is about two blocks from Bui Vien street where all the tourist bars and nightlife is where they blast music into the street until 3AM. This means you will not get the noise pollution if you stay at Saigonciti Hotel. The room is on the small side but in general, it is acceptable. A buffet breakfast is included, and it takes place at their other location which is a block away and easy to find. The food selection is pretty awesome, and for the quality and AYCE, it's easily the cost of the stay. Room at $18 a night, I have no complaints.

The location is central to the entertainment district, but my room was quiet at the back of the hotel. Staff were friendly, helpful English-speaking, and gave a full introduction to room features without me needing to ask. The room was clean, with a view just to other buildings, but good light. The elevator goes between L1-8 (not ground or 9) if that's a factor. Wifi was good, and there are many, many restaurants and activities nearby. In sum, a good, quiet low-cost hotel in the heart of D1

Hotel near Backpacking street
If you want to hang around backpacking street then this hotel is great. The room was a bit small so it was a bit difficult with 2 people to move around in the room. For the price of stay, it was not too bad.

I needed the room only for the checking out day. I checked in at around 9:00AM. The hotel showed zero flexibility for a late checkout request. Plus the room was very small. No room to even open my suitrcase. Elevator starts at the next level above the reception and stops at one below from my room level. It is dangerous to come down the strairs with a siitecase in your hand.

Great stay!
The hotel room was very clean and comfortable. They let us check-in s few hours before the check-in time. The breakfast was good. Great location, since the hotel is close to the market, bars and restaurants.

Friendly staff, clean room, but the first time we stayed we had room 101, which is at the front of the hotel on the 1st floor and the noise from the street was very loud - we had to wear ear plugs to get any sleep. On our second stay we were on a higher floor at the back of the hotel and we couldn't hear the street noise at all. One big plus for me was that they keep my phone for me until I returned to the hotel after I left it in a taxi at the airport the the taxi driver delivered it back to the hotel for me - so very helpful staff.

The Saigonciti Hotel B (there are two in the same neighborhood) was clean, quiet and in a good location for touring downtown Saigon sites as well as getting the 109 bus from and to SGN airport. The breakfast provided had many choices (North American and local) and very good. The room we selected as it turned out had no windows but proved to be beneficial...having no noise and light disturbances from a very busy Ho Chi Minh City.

Good budget hotel
Saigonciti is a great hotel if you are on a budget. It is in the heart of the backpacker district and within walking distance of anywhere in district 1. The only thing that we would recommend if you are a couple is to book a triple room as the room was a bit stuffy for two people. Bathroom was great through. Very clean and shower power was perfect. Staff are very friendly and helpful.

Great value for money hotel, the rooms are clean, the hotel staff helpful, there is choice to order of cooked items at breakfast There will be noise from the busy road which may impact on sleep if you have a room in the front. The location is central for visiting attractions around the city, very close to amenities, bars restaurants etc.

The hotel is in the middle of busy street with a lot of international people. However, in the busy neighborhood, all the noise can be heard from the hotel. Room condition was not good, the air-conditioner was not working very well. Breakfast menu was very poor.

Great little hotel in the heart of the city
This was a great little hotel in the heart of District 1, which is the ideal location in HCM City for walking to a number of key sights. Lots of good restaurants in the area, too. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. Although District 1 hotel rooms can get more of the night-scene noise, this wasn't a problem for us: we slept through it, mostly because after a full day out we were exhausted! The breakfast, incidentally, is excellent: a variety of delicious Vietnamese foods, as well as baguettes and toast with homemade jams--and you can, if you want, order specific omelettes. Try the banana "pancake"!

Clean rooms and service-minded staff
The check-in and check-out were carried quickly. Staff were polite and helpful. The room is clean and is well maintained. The cleaning staff took the initiative to bring fresh towels and bottled water (without the need to ask for them) on the afternoon that I stayed in the room and didn't want to be disturbed. The toiletries set was comprehensive and included shavers, cotton buds, toothbrush, etc. Unfortunately, the bed was hard and took a little getting used to.

Good price and happy stay.
Friendly staffs and great location in the city with cafes and restaurant around it. The room is clean but the mattress is pretty hard. Super near to the Sinh Company which has tour packages to the attractions in HCM or bus trip to Mui Ne or etc.

Room is small, but we didn't spend much time in the room so it never bothered our family. Bathroom was beautifully updated. The bedroom was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was decent. Overall, the hotel is wonderful, especially for the price that you pay. If i were to come back to Saigon, I would not hesitate to stay here again.

A great hotel with one fatal flaw
There's so much good to mention about my stay here. Location is perfect. The room is nicely styled (I especially liked the choice in laminate flooring). It's clean. No bugs. Everything works well - fridge, A/C, hot water. Tv has some English channels. The front staff are very friendly and always greet you with a genuine smile. The rooftop patio is really nice. So where did they blow it??? The bed is so hard it's frickin unbelievable. It's like a rock. No bounce whatsoever. Who is the fool responsible for picking those beds? They must not care about guest comfort and only cared about how long the mattresses would last. No way would they ever sleep on such mattresses themselves. How did this hotel get everything else so right but blow it so badly when picking the actual thing guest sleep and relax on for about 8 hours a day? Who is responsible. Anyway, I can recommend the hotel for all of its good points if those things are most important to you. But if the comfort of the bed matters to you, find another place to stay until this awful problem is fixed with new mattresses or at least mattress pads with memory foam - unless of course you like sleeping on something with the comfort of a metal slab.

Nice little hotel. We almost missed breakfast because we did not know we had to exit the front lobby and go downstairs. Overall it was a nice place, good price and great location.

In a busy central area but very quiet inside, and with very helpful, friendly staff. The room was extremely clean and well maintained, with good facilities including very effective air conditioning. An unexpected feature was the rooftop area where the staff invited me to a very enjoyable New Year's Eve party.
