I had an amazing stay at Avanti. Staffs are very friendly and attentive. The room is neat and clean, the design is modern and it gives a luxury vibe. A big bonus is the location, it is right across the street from Ben Thanh Market.

Good location and quiet
We booked a deluxe room which had laege windows overlooking the ben thiu market. Fantastic location, so many places to eat and with the market just across the road. Didnt hear much street noise.

The air conditioning didn’t work. I called the reception at 2 am. They said it will not be necessary to send a technician because they do it over the network. Well nothing happened. Couldn’t sleep well. Asked for rebate or a free day. They denied any wrong doing. Have been at the hotel several times before. Never again!

Dear Daniel, Greeting from Avanti Hotel. We haved checked with our receptionist that you pulled out the key when you leave your room. You did call to recepnist and they already guide to you to put the key in the electricity holder. And also they offer to you to change another room if you not fell good. And after that you sleep until the morning. When the check out time you call to us to refund to you for the technical.But how we could refund to you when you already stayed at our hotel for the night. And if really the air- conditioner not work how you could sleep until the morning because nobody could stay in the room without the air conditioner. It really hot and doesn't had any air in the room.However, we are still apologize for your experince, and hope we could serve to you again. Thanks and best regards.

The room is too small and degrades .The bathroom door is not working and causes big noise for just moving left or right. we won't come back to this hotel anymore, so disappointed.

The hotel was horrible. The bathroom flooding all the room because no where the water can't rain out. So, we have to moved to another room. After that, the 2nd night the bathroom flooded again at 4am because the bathroom handle was broken because the hotel too old. The manager asked to share the cost to repair the damaged, they try to put the problems to the customers. It wasn't professional management. They should say sorry to the customer because they didn't check the hotel before give the room to us. The hotel too old every shaking waiting for broken. Basically, NEVER STAY THERE. IF THERE HAVE ANY PROBLEMS THE CUSTOMERS HAVE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE REPAIR COST. BE CARE TO RENT THERE.

Super close to shopping
Super near to market, lots of eateries and walking distance to Saigon Center. Hotel staff wasn’t as friendly thou. Do take note that there’s 26steps of stairs to be climb as there is no lift fm lobby to road (hotel is located above L1 shophouse). Would recommend Avanti Boutique Hotel (just 3mins walk down) as it has lesser stairs to climb and the restaurant- Pho2000 serves great food.

If we had known that there were 20 stairs to climb up & down to get in we would never have booked this hotel. I could not tell you the name of any staff member as they didn't talk to you. One staff member didn't even look up to say hello as you walked in, just kept watching something on their ph. Only 1 young man opened doors for us coming & going & was polite. Rooms clean but door & walls thin. Opposite Banh Thai markets but noise didn't worry us. Little coffee shop at front of hotel (up stairs) made great coffee & staff polite. Would not stay here again because of stairs. Katinat coffee shop down rd made fabulous coffee.

I often don’t have time to write a review unless it’s extremely bad or excellent. However, this time, I think it will be useful for others. Hotel location and cleanliness is a 5, however, due to the front desk receptionist, I will have to reduce to a 2 out of 5. I can write all the incidents that occurred but Expedia doesn’t have room for me to write a book 😀 To summarize, the lady receptionist (the only female) was rude, unprofessional and at one point dared one of my guests to report her to her management. I’ve been there for 21 days and the only timer he female receptionist smile was when her boss stopped by. There are millions of qualified receptionist but this hotel retained such unprofessional staff. All then other staff members are cordial and she’s the only nighymare. I wonder if she’s relating to the mgmt. why else would you retain such staff to the ambassador to first impression???? I’m sure I’ll get an email from someone in mgmt replying with apologies and promise to change. there are things that can be changed but in this case, a worm has just ruined the entire pot. I guess your lousy lady receptionist is worth more than your customers who travelled the world to be in your hotel. I do like the hotel and it’s location but if the receptionist is still around, my next trip will not be with Avanti😀😀😀

This is a good basic hotel in a prime location just outside the market. Easy to walk to tourist attractions. Restaurants, bars and shopping on your doorstep. Noisy and busy area but rooms are peaceful. Hotel is clean. Wifi not great. Hot water, fridge, air conditioning, plus complimentary tea, coffee and bottled water. Did not include breakfast. Main issue for me was staff. Awful and rude. Never greeted anyone nor smiled.
