Friendly staff, Jimmy is very enthusiastic, Sulli is very lovely. They had lemonade offered to us from we checked in until we checked out. The hotel is located in the center, very easy to get to many restaurants around here. The room is clean and the breakfast is delicious. They also have a tour desk to provide all the tour services you need.

The hotel is located in the city center, very convenient. Jimmy is the most enthusiastic person I have ever met in Vietnam, he guided me everywhere to visit, every delicious restaurant. Very excellent. Love this hotel!

Location was perfect! Sulli and Alex are very friendly and helpful.. Breakfast was great value for money! So close to Lake for morning walk and so close to all the action in the Old Quarter..

The hotel is centrally located, comfy beds but their pillows are huge , polite and helpful staff (Jimmy, Alex and Jenny) , we didn't opt for breakfast so can't comment on it. overall a very great experience.

Great location and good value for money. Highly recommend if you are looking to explore Old Quarter. Everything you need it just outside your doorstep. The hotel is in a great location in Hanoi. Jenny, Sulli and other staff are friendly and helpful.Jenny helped me organize a food tour with lots of delicious dishes. There is complimentary water and tea/coffee making facilities, which is a nice added bonus. The bed is very comfortable. The shower is good and the room was clean. I enjoyed my stay here.

This is a charming hotel with a great vibe and is in the heart of the bustling Old Quarters. It was great value for money, the room had everything we needed. The staff at the front desk were amazingly helpful and attentive. The breakfast was really nice and they made pancakes on request. They were happy for us to leave our belongings there once we returned from our cruise, and in between our flights, even though we weren’t staying an extra night. I believe the smaller hotels make for a more personal experience. It was a great stay!

We stayed at the Royal Palace Hotel 2 for two nights and it was perfect. The hotel is right in the centre of Old Quarter and walking distance to everything. Jimmy, Jenny, Sulli were lovely and very helpful. They even stored our luggage in a secure location for the 2 nights we were on a cruise in Halong Bay. Would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Hanoi.

The service of the staff was exceptional. They went above and beyond in helping us in booking cabs through out our stay, they helped us figure out best places to shop depending on our need, the rooms were clean and to top it off they even gave us a small gift of coffee on our check out which was a pleasant surprise.

There is nothing not to like about hanoi as well as this hotel,it's been like home away from home, made our trip so beautiful,they booked our trip and arranged everything with enthusiasm,thanks to Jim and Sulli,our trip to halong bay was heaven,we didn't have to worry about a thing,from our luxury cruise boats to Halong bay to our limousine trip back to Hanoi, everything was arranged by them.

Jimmy, Sully, Bellboys, and other staff were exceptional, absolutely loved them! I enjoyed my stay, clean room and location was everything! Great breakfast provided as well as availability for tours like to Halong Bay. They booked airport shuttle transportation to and from. Thankful!

The staff service was exceptional from the moment our transportation arrived outside on the street! mr Jimmy and the morning team were so welcoming to get us checked in and give up pointers as we went out to explore. Ms Jenny was in contact with me before my arrival and she was so helpful and upon meeting with her in the evening, it was like meeting up with a friend! Besides the service, the lodging is clean, comfortable and cozy while the breakfast is delicious! The entire service here is what made us decide to cancel our future booking at another hotel to come back and stay here soon! Looking forward to returning and staying here again soon!

The stay in the hotel was really nice and comforteble. Jimmy organiced us a trip to Ha Long Bay and was always there for us if we needed something. He brought us a local beer and also a little gift for saying goodbye. The room was clean and there was nothing to complain about. I recommend this hotel to everyone and we will thank Jimmy and the rest of the team for the nice stay in Hanoi!

The staff here are excellent. The hotel itself has seen better days. Every staff member here was very helpful and friendly, top notch. On check-in, they helped us book two excursions, one to Ninh Binh and one to Halong Bay. Both were very high quality and competitively priced. Our room was one of the rear rooms, essentially with no exterior view, only a window that opens to a tiny enclosed space between the buildings. Several bathroom towels were threadbare. The drain to the shower was outside of the shower enclosure, creating a wet mess in the bathroom when you showered. The room smelled musty and old. There are many lodging choices in the Old Qyarter similar to this hotel, but they cost much much less. The location here is amazing. But just know that this is NOT a $175/night off-season Hanoi hotel. It’s clean, safe, has great staff and great location. But just be aware that if you want to pay higher price points, you will find much more up-to-date hotels than the Royal Palace Hotel 2.

The location is excellent. Right in the heart of old quarter and close to all the main attractions. The staff were incredible. They always greeted us with a smile, asked about our day and assisted us with booking transport and day tours. On our return to the hotel after a night away at Halong Bay, they generously provided us with a room upgrade. The interior design is beautiful, air conditioning works well and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. The bed was also super comfortable. This hotel really is value for money, and I hope to stay again some day.

Great location, easy walking to the Old & French Quarters. Clean and comfortable rooms, with excellent beds. Standard of cleanliness and maintenance is very high. Good breakfast buffet, with staff very proactive to offer a la carte Pho and/or Eggs. They were kind to our children, and always checked that everything was OK with our stay. Very good independent hotel which clearly takes pride in offering good service. Most impressive of all were the staff, and excellent leadership from Miss Jenny. From the minute of our booking, she was proactive to help to offer to organise airport transfers and tours. We know that she also provided very good and fair price, compared to what people from other hotels on our tours paid. She was proactive to recommend and reserve restaurants to suit our itinerary. Together with her staff she made our trip much easier - thank you!

I had a quick layover in hanoi before my trip to halong bay for cruise. Check in was a breeze. Staff was friendly and helpful. We booked two double room with window. My parents room had problem with air condition and was fix immediately. The room is clean. Shower works perfectly. At breakfast, the staff voluntarily informed us and notified food that contain meat, so we can opt for the vegetarian choice for muslim. Location wise, its in the centre but the noise level was nil. This maybe due to weekday, so i cant comment on weekeend. All in all i will recommend this hotel. For family, couple, bussiness. Value for money 👍

Near to every restaurants and convenience store especially in the train street! The room is spacious also! Super big and I love it. It is very comfortable! Lastly, I love their breakfast! If you wanted to have a buffet breakfast, I would like to recomment this hotel. I love their food selection. Kudos to the chef/cook who always give us a wonderful experience of food. Because of this hotel, we were able to save money from eating outside. Thank you everyone - to the staff of the hotel. Hope to see you soon again ❤️❤️

It’s a little tatty but that doesn’t take anything away from it. It’s in a perfect location, very clean and comfortable. The customer service staff- Jim was a real help when our booked car didn’t turn up at 5.30 am. He immediately called the company for us and got us another taxi to the airport so we weren’t late for our flight.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious and clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff were super helpful! They even helped us to talk with the taxi driver to make sure we were not getting scammed. Shoutout to Jimmy, jennie, Alex, Suli for making our stay extra comfortable!

Clean room, great location and excellent staff. Jenny and Jimmy were extremely helpful. They helped us booked transport to and fro Sapa on a last minute notice. Even though we were not returning to Royal palace after Sapa, Jimmy kept in contact and made sure that we were picked up by the driver for the trip back to Hanoi.

The staff were very friendly,Jim and Jenny helped us to plan our stay in Hà Nội. Location is in old town of the city, with walking distance to all activities in an around. Clean rooms with all amenities, had a wonderful stay…
