My principal frustration was more of an issue with the other guests’ behavior than the staff or property. Kids slamming doors and stomping and jumping on the floor until 1 am. The clerk apologized when I called to inform them and I was told, “Yeah, we’ve got a lot of complaints tonight. Sorry.” I guess my other frustration is why don’t hotels stagger or space guest when it’s only 1/3 full?

Unfortunately it is not always possible to stagger guests when we assign rooms. We do our best but there is a lot that goes into putting guests in to rooms.

Great hotel
I always stay at this hotel when visiting my family near Grand Junction. It’s in downtown and the location is lovely. Near shops and especially pretty with Christmas lights on the streets by hotel. Lovely to walk in the evening.

Christmas lighting in the street was nice. However, I stepped out to drop my husband off at work, when I came back, the maids had cleaned our room already. They cleaned out everything! We left things in there that were taken and I have tried calling since Wednesday and have not been successful. I thought check-out time was until noon. I didn't even check out with the front desk

We recently stayed at a SpringHill Suites in Irvine, CA. This one is so much nicer! Very nice, very clean, and the front desk was so friendly and accommodating. They have a nice little bar area where you can grab a drink and parking was easy. We will definitely stay here again if we are coming through the area.

The pool is tiny more like a lap pool if that and the suite we had did not have a real sofa sleeper/pull out couch, more like a trundle bed. Also there was a separate room for the toilet which was a bit odd for a hotel any no where in that to hang a hand towel. Strange layout. We also heard a mechanical buzzing each time the elevator moved day or night.

Thank you for your feedback! We are sorry to hear that not everything was to your liking. All of our rooms come standard with a trundle bed and not a full pull out couch. As a brand Springhill Suites do have separate bathroom areas from the showers. I will make sure to speak with our maintenance men about the hook for the hand towel in the bathroom. Very nice hotel, staff is very friendly and responsive. It includes breakfast and there is very convinient area downstairs where you also can sit with your own food during the day, have tea or coffee wich is available all the time.
