Nice staff who were there to check using even though we arrived late, but room was very old and shabby, thin walls meant you could hear people talking, tv's etc. in the surrounding rooms.

As a sole woman traveller with a dog it felt very safe and was very convenient with my furry friend

My only criticism about this Motel is the fact that although it says pet friendly, they do not mention the fact that it costs an extra $40 a night for your pet . This makes it quite an expensive overnight stay in a fairly basic motel. However there is little else to chose from in Goulburn it seems .You also pay a $50.00 deposit returned if no damage done .

The property was dated. It’s advertised as Lilac Motel and Steakhouse but the Steakhouse is closed. Very noisy at night. There was a loud bang in the middle of the night that woke us up. Continued noise from the street.

A welcoming motel that was clean and comfortable. We really appreciated being able to take our dog and the motel was quite full but we did not hear a peep out of anyone. I would recommend it if you are traveling with a pet and wish more were accommodating like this!

Not a bad motel…… however the room we stayed in smelled strongly of dog. This a a pet friendly motel, but the rooms should be cleaned better to prevent these smells. There was dog fur on the lounge and stains on the carpet, hmmm? If the owners are going to let dogs stay in the rooms then perhaps they shouldn’t rent those rooms to other non dog owners, just keep them for dog owners. Or find a better way to do a deep clean. I ended up being wheezy in the morning. The steakhouse restaurant was a bit hit and miss, out of stock with a lot of things, but our meal was very nice. We should have said something to the owner about the smell. I hope things greatly improve.

Disappointing! The carpet needed replacement 10 years ago, no toilet paper, noise air-con, a big dead bug in the shower, and I couldn’t raise the reception staff on arrival.

It was ok, the shower taps were a bit hard to get right which was annoying and a few other things were or went wrong but over all it was on for the for a stop over.... Would consider staying again maybe in a different room next time
