Our initial reception was warm & friendly. The room was fresh & clean, bright, airy and everything worked. The room safe and fridge were lovely surprises, as were the ironing board iron, and the communal washing machines & spin dryers made life so comfortable for our 10 day stay.
The hotel is close to shops, restaurants and bars/pubs.

Good for one night, close to transport and gets the job done. Water pressure in shower was excellent
I didn’t like the fact that they put the dental kit in the vending machine for us to buy rather than providing them as complimentary toiletries, everything else was good.
Staff were exceptional from the getgo. We required short notice parking due to husband having ankle surgery two days prior to our stay. They organised a taxi for the conference we were attending. Room was clean and ready for our arrival.

Well priced for what it is. Small rooms and the location isn't excellent, but it is close to lots of little eateries and restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful too.
A good place to stay if you want to spend under $300 a night, wouldn't recommend it for a stay of more than 2 nights as the rooms are too small and there is nothing really to do.
We found the Woodroffe Hotel excellent value, great laundry facilities, good disabled bathroom, however air conditioning was not adjustable as to temperature and was set too 28 degrees in the summer season. Cafe very convenient.
Very comfortable modern rooms for the price in a good location close to the light rail system on the Gold Coast. Only small issue was no freezer within the room fridge which I needed
I especially liked the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the facility & room.
Only dislike was I had to park on the street I would’ve liked my car to have been more secure knowing it was safe without parking on the street overnight.
Modern medium sized hotel in quiet area. No pool so probably not recommended for family holidaymakers. Close to Gold Coast tram (enabling easy access to Surfers Paradise without being in the middle of the action). Also close to Southport Library, Australia Fair shopping centre and Chinatown.
Rooms are of good size and relatively new; the cafe has limited times and options and there are eateries nearby and next time we're there we'll explore more of them. The hotel is walking distance to the G, which we used.
Poor air-conditioning. Hallways stinkng hot. Carpark s fine if you drive a gogo moblie or smaller.
Furniture is straight out of fantasic Furniture or less.
Fridge was available just a micro fridge. Dont buy a two litre bottle of milk!
We wont go again. I think they think there back in China and dont have to provide a service. Asked for an invoice. No, you booked through someone else so we wont give you one. Sorry but we stayed at your establishment!
If you want accommodation and be treated like your inferior this is the place to stay.
Acceptable. The cost was too high compared to offer. The Breakfast was not acceptable. No proper Buffet Breakfast, just plated menu breakfast, without options and no drinks included (juice), and the price was too high. Near to transport hub and restaurants.
