Great location for a short trip. Plenty of dining options are around the local area. The buffet breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of hot and cold options which my 13 year old really enjoyed.

Good size room, extremely helpful front desk staff and concierge. Great location for beach/ restaurants. Easy travel links for taxis and trams. Good breakfast buffet. Would stay again and recommend!

Property is in good location, but rooms old, staff hopeless apart from doorman, lifts didn't work, got charged $100 a day for mini bar, really? wont stay there again.

My husbands words were “worst 5 star hotel I have ever stayed in!”. Staff were lovely and helpful, rooms were dated but comfortable. Pool dated and dirty (clumps of hair and food scraps floating around), no free wifi or streaming on TV, no mini bar or access to water fountain to refill own water bottles. Pretty disappointed.

Location is great hotel needs upgrades out of 4 lifts only one worked for 3 days.on common areas it was very very cold.rooms smelled on dampness.room Furniture outdated .Carpark boom gate closed on my car.

Kind and helpful staff
Well this little getaway was planned for a long time but then I went and injured my ankle badly and could not actually leave my bed to enjoy the trip with my friend. HOWEVER Katerina on reception was so lovely and kind and helped change the booking details (as it was already paid for in advance) and my daughter and my friend were able to enjoy the visit. Thanks for being so helpful Sofitel. They had a wonderful time at GROUNDWATER festival instead of me.

It was such a great place to stay in Broadbeach so close to everything I was happy and highly recommend to anyone gong to Broadbeach to stay at Sofitel. So many good restaurants and close to the beach.

We thought we’d try to stay the Sofitel for a change. We usually stay at crowne plaza so we are use to shaving mirror in the bathroom, and night lights under the bathroom sink, softer mattress. The mattress was extremely hard I had sore back for 3 days. The pool was not heated which is a big shame and my fault I should’ve checked that before booking so we won’t stay at Sofitel again unfortunately the only positive thing was it was close to restaurants and beach but there are lots of other hotels near by so we’ll go to them next time. I think we’ve been spoilt staying at higher class of hotels.

We were lucky as the room was ready when we arrived and checked in early. Room and Hotel is outdated. Feels like back in the late 80s early 90s Really don't feel like it match the quality or other sofitel overseas. Breakfast in the morning was nice. Better then the others in the Boardbeach area.

We really enjoyed our time at the Sofitel. Breakfast was lovely. Pool and pool bar service very good. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic location close to restaurants and beach.

Broadbeach is an excellent location to base yourself for a trip to the Gold Coast. The Sofitel is in a perfect location, facilities were good, breakfast had a good range of options and was always fresh. The hotel is close to everything and only short drives to Pacific Fair shipping centre (3 mins), Wet N Wild/Movie World (20 mins), Cavill Ave (5 mins), SeaWorld (15 mins). We would stay here again.

Vaccum in common areas, condition of lift, in room bathroom tiles broken, very old fit outs and only 2 pillows on each bed, which were not comfortable, cutlery, bottle opener, and tea and coffee was not provided. Very poor experience. To make it worse staff communication is bad too, for late checkout one staff said ok, other staff member said it’s not requested. The only good thing was location of the property. And in 2023 no free internet which is pretty stock standard even in a little cafe.
