Perfect for kids! Simple accommodations but so much to do with kids. Great location, great staff. Only feednack i have is that they should have some life guards at the pool area - its so busy its easy to lose track of your kids. Also they should better advertise hotel facilities - for example we only found out about kids club a bit too late and didnt get to use it.

Our room had no aircon in main part where parents sleep as pictured on site when we booked, room was filthy(hair and dirt everywhere in bathroom, skid marks in toilet) it had t been cleaned at all. Room is old and crappy

No doubt this place is a lot of fun for the kids, especially in the waterpark and lagoon! However it does need some work to make it really stand out as a place you would return to. We stayed in the new and renovated Dusty Digs - the rooms were lovely. The only downfall was access was via the carpark at the time given construction work on site. Our rooms also faced the Gold Coast Highway and unfortunately there isn't any soundproofing so it was extremely loud at night with the cars, trucks and motorbikes flying by! Food and drink options on site is very expensive. Location is good and walking distance to Surfers Paradise.

Kids enjoyed the waterpark HOWEVER: Had cockroaches in the room. Stayed in the Captains Quarters and the rooms feel run down. Bunk beds were very squeaky so every time my 6yo moved, it would make a noise. Buffet breakfast is expensive if paying at the door or even with their discounted offer. Had lunch there however did not get 2 out of our 5 meals and when questioned 30 mins later, was told that it had not even been cooked yet. Also told refund will take 2 weeks to be processed. Would not be coming back, especially due to the cockroaches.

Its a 3 star property. The reataurants were ok but were pricey our breakkie for 2 adults and 2 kids cost (modest) was 83.00. We chose not to do conteniental as its mostly carbs and sugar with some fruit. No protein. The staff were friendly. Kids had a good time, but they preferred not to do the activities they spent most of their time in the pools, or the arcade. On Saturday there was a external party that hired the place on the property and the pools etc were jam packed that the kids were paying accidentally bumping into the pools cause it seemed over capacity. The kids area with water slides was on maintenance for 2 days straight so it was closed. Property is aging and our room which was renovated - when we booked it said it was reno’d but didn’t state that it was renovated 7 years ago which by now was dated and well used which was our experience. All in all it was good place for kids to have fun - a 3 or max 4 days. We stayed for 8 days but we had passes to parks so we did things off the resort which gave us a breathier from the high intensity of the resort. We enjoyed our time.

Run down property, multiple physcial fights between other guests during our stay due to something happening between children at the pool during the nights. Pool should be shut from 6pm. Pool and area is dirty and smelt funny. Room wasn't made up daily and first two nights my husband was attacked by bed bugs. Put through a complaint directly to the resort and heard nothing back. I recommend staying elsewhere.

Great activities and kids club. Pool is top class along with staff. An external issue to the organisation is that rubbish trucks woke me up everyday at 5:30am. Whilst there is little the resort can do, it does affect my stay and sleep.

This is a place where kids have fun. It is made for children's safety. There is a nice pool, 2 waterparks, bubble spa, outdoor playground, indoor playground, kids club, arcade room. It is a paradise for kids, and the good thing it is walking distance from city. However don't forget it is a 3 stars, so don't exprct a service of 5 stars. Personally I fiund the breakfast too much overpriced for what they offer, and coffee being served in plastic cup was a minus for me. Also food, even though the menu is very reach, the taste is not the best, so after 5 days I wanted some better tasting and nicer plated meals. So yes it is a great place for kids, but adults should lower their expectations, especially if you are used to a 5 stars service, and watch kids have fun. Will we come again? Maybe but for a shorter stay.

Property location is great, especially with the tram into Cavill Ave across the road. Dining at resort is expensive and food not the greatest- had a ‘supreme’ pizza that had about 3 pieces of capsicum, 2 slices of meat, one chopped olive and that’s it.. great resort for families with kids as pool area is great. Was grateful our room wasn’t facing into pool area. Kids up late at night running around and heard through floors. Reception desk friendly and accomodating. Would we stay again? No.

Not really right for our 11 and 13 year old. They had fun in water slides, poolside trivia and ice skating but a number of things like the climbing wall and ninja gym seemed unattended. Part of the hotel is being developed to include an adults retreat which they really need. It’s a kids resort but without an adults area just to chill every now and then a parent can feel a little trapped inside a day care centre Kids 10yrs and younger will love the resort - plenty of items scheduled. For us our visit was nostalgic having visited the resort in the 80’s and wanting our kids to visit before they were too old. Once in progress building is complete young families will love it. Our kids at Boy 11 and Girl 13y - had outgrown a majority of the activities.

The resort is great, the staff and entertainment for kids is amazing. Only few downfalls are the tiredness of rooms and buildings. The new wings of the resort are alot nicer. My kids love it just the same and will continue to visit.

Price advertised in US dollars which was a little deceiving for Aus. Resort. Bathroom same as government housing. Forgot meal order twice. NO PARKING - had to walk a block to get back and forth from car and i have disability. Glass thrown and broken in kids pool area. No ability to contact billing company by phone or email. etc etc

We could not wait to check out by the fifth day! Our room was dated. For the price we paid there was not much amenities except for bath soap which was also your shampoo. There was nothing much todo except going to the pool which was always crowded and noisy. Most activities are payable. In the cafe the floor was wet and my son slipped & fell. Dropped his pizza but staff was quick to actt.The bed and AC were good! The staff was friendly but I didnt enjoy the stay.

Resort good for kids. A lot of facilities for them. Rooms are a bit old, really bad lighting there is only 2 lights in the room which makes it hard to see adequately.

We really enjoyed our time at Paradise Resort, everything is accessible and there is plenty of things to do with the kids. We would definitely come back again. Parking onsite is an issue and if we were told about it upon booking, we would have booked parking. The floors get really slippery around the restaurant areas.

Great spot for kids under 12. The facilities are great for kids and there are activities that continually run during the holidays. There is no real swimming pool for adults, only 1 very small lagoon pool. The resort is cashless and requires you to use eftpos or credit card for every purchase but you will be charged a surcharge every time. Overall we had a great time, I wouldn’t call it a relaxing holiday for adults, but I would call it paradise for kids.

The resort has everything you need that you dont need to leave with the kids. Some of the activities come at an additional cost (if you book direct, you get 1 kids club free). Room service was unable to do a full service (assume its because the hotel was at capacity) so had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper. Overall, if you have kids and dont want to leave your resort , this place is amazing
