This was an amazing place to stay. The hosts were lovely the accommodation was perfect. The attention to detail is amazing. The location is walking distance to the center of the town. We will definitely book here again.

Perfect B&B Getaway!
Such a great time! The house is so cute and comfortable, and there are plenty of nice touches that quickly make you feel like it’s your home away from home. Julie is so friendly and welcoming, and her breakfasts can’t be beat! The location was perfect, walking distance to everything we wanted to do. We’ll absolutely be back!!

Charming B and B in the historic area of Glenwood
The Rio Grande Band B is wonderful! It is an old building, which is part of both its "funkiness" and charm! The breakfast was amazing. The location is very convenient to downtown shops and restaurants. The B andB manager was very accommodating in providing us a "to go" breakfast since we needed to leave early on the "check out day". I would love to return in the summer or fall!

Hosts were very friendly they had Towels ready to grab for the Hot springs. Room was clean and comfy. Home made Breakfast was amazing it’s worth half the money.

The accommodations were luxurious yet homey (heated bathroom floor in the Colorado room!) breakfast was fabulous and the room was set up so we got to enjoy getting to know the other guests. Wonderful. We will be back!

Wonderful, Charming and beautiful
The Rio Grande B&B is such a cute and beautiful spot. Very quiet street, the owners Luis and his Wife were so very warm and welcoming and the homemade cookies in our room were delicious! The room was immaculate, the towels were very plush and soft and the shower is relaxing with the body sprays. My girlfriend and I stayed in the Colorado Room and would highly recommend everyone stay here at least twice. We will absolutely be back again soon!

Very nice and comfortable place. The owners/hosts we fun to visit with and the food was very good. The hosts go beyond normal duties to help people. Easy to Find with good parking. For only being in the business for a year, they know what they are doing.

Perfectly Charming and Hospitable
If you are planning a trip to Glenwood Springs, you should stay here! Rio Grande B&B is the perfectly charming B&B – from the house to the garden, to the hosts, Luis and Kristine- you will not be disappointed. Clean, spacious, comfy, well decorated room (we stayed in the Colorado Room) and a wonderful common space as well where we read books, drank tea and listened to records. Rio Grande B&B is in a quiet neighborhood, but within walking distance of the river, hot springs and all the great restaurants in town. Julie (the marvelous cook) plans something new and fresh every day, and you get to choose what you would like from a menu the day before. I highly recommend staying here!

Julie was wonderful and made us feel at home! Her food was nothing short of spectacular. Everything is really homemade. You can tell she puts lots of care and energy in keeping up the B&B. Comfortable, convenient, and cozy this B&B has everything you need for a reasonable price. Book it!

The room was spacious and private. There were home made cookies left for me in the room. The breakfast was amazing! Filling, fresh, tasty, and elegantly served. Julie, and the Del Rio's are great hosts. They offered suggestions on things to do and see and places to eat downtown. The location of the B&B is central to the downtown venues, within easy walking distance.

In trying to surprise my boyfriend of 5+ years, he was actually bowled over. The Breakfast was so gourmet and the ambiance...very romantic. Everything was exceeding our expectations every bite of our visit...from the shower...to the sheets and the location was steps away from the hot springs and many nice shops, bars and restaurants.

Had a great overnight stay here. Hot springs and downtown shopping are close and convenient. The proprietors are a hoot and the place looks nice. Bed was comfy and the amenities were great. Loved the double shower!

Absolutely incredible place to stay! Surprised my husband with a babymoon, and they went over the top for us to make sure it was a special trip. The family is so warm and inviting, their hospitality is genuine and rare. The breakfast is to DIE FOR, I wish we could go back just for that! The house is beautiful, warm, and cozy. I am so happy I found this place and cannot wait to be back!

We felt like we were visiting our best friends. Kristine, Louis and whole family are fantastic people and they will make you feel welcome. Breakfast were the best! Great location, not that far from Aspen. You can get up at 5 am, go see the sunrise at Maroon bells and get back for delicious breakfast. Why not, right? We would love to stay here again. So comfortable and a wonderful balance between very kind, attentive hosts and feeling like you have your own little private, retreat space. Super comfy bed, yummy treats when you arrive and before bed, the breakfast is AMAZING!!! This place is a real gem. Thank you! Stayed here in connection with a work trip and came home feeling more rested then when I left which is highly unusual after 2 long days of driving and "being on the job". Thanks for the TLC:)

Fabulous and true to name bead and breakfast
We chose this bead and breakfast based on the pictures. Gorgeous room and breath taking view. The owners have only had this since May 2017 but they have nailed it. The two rooms are a good size for two guets and have their own private bathrooms. Breakfast in the morning was a delicious homemade meal that left us full and wanting more. Perfectly situated with in walking distance of the shops Glenwood Springs has to offer. The owners also offer bikes for use to get around the town. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast for those who would like to experience the hospitality of an authentic and fabulous bed and breakfast.

Wedding Weekend Miracles
We traveled to Colorado to get married at sunrise in the beautiful mountains. What wasn't supposed to be a big event became just that as the date approached. I was unable to find anyone who could steam a fluffy dress in one afternoon much less be willing to help me with my hair at 3 a.m. (weird). I called the B&B as a last ditch effort to ask if they had a steamer I could use. Christine helped me find what I needed and then some! I absolutely love this family and this B&B! The house is adorable, super clean, and I couldn't have asked for a more kind, caring, loving and helpful family. Their joy was contagious and they made our weekend so incredibly wonderful! From homemade goodies waiting in our room to a very early, special occasion breakfast, the food was excellent and the tiniest of details they put the effort into made us feel so special.

BEST B&B, BEST SERVICE
My wife, Rachel, and I took a two-day excursion to Glenwood Springs during a 10-day visit to her family in Lakewood. We could not be happier with the hospitality we received at Rio Grande! The staff and owners were so personable and gave us great suggestions for food and attractions in the area. The room was so quaint, cozy, and comfortable. We loved the treats we received upon arrival and each night-- so delicious! The decor was so perfectly matched with the character of the B&B, and we loved making this our home away from home! Some of our personal highlights: - Definitely try the orange brulee for breakfast-- it is to die for! - Thank you to Erin for redirecting us back to the B&B over the phone one evening when construction caused us some difficulty getting back - Towels and discount tickets were provided by the B&B for a local hot springs attraction - Staff and owners were easy to reach if we needed anything - We had some great conversations with Kristine and Luis over breakfast each day - We were able to purchase some signs Luis had hand-whittled that were decorating the dining room. Not only did they make a one-of-a-kind souvenir, but Luis signed them for us to make them extra special. ...we could say so much more, but you'll just have to go see for yourselves!
