Property is nice, room is great, it is unfortunate that the hot tub and pool are under renovation (at least they are closed, and look like they are being fixed up. I understand that these things need to be done, but would have been nice to soak in the hot tub after a long day of driving.

The property is just fine. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is always hot water in the bathroom and the shower. The cable TV lineup could be a little better, with more options. The hotel next door has Direct TV in each room and many more channels so maybe that's something management and ownership of the Grand River could consider. The internet ran well today and enabled me to do my work. The pool and hot tub seemed to be clean and in good working order. Cassie and her staff are doing an excellent job.

Very pleased with the hotel itself. My only negative was the charge for overnight parking. It was likely stated on their internet site but I did not notice it. Had I known about the charge I may well have stayed elsewhere.

Very conviently near restaurants, although there is a fee for parking and they charge for breakfast. Overall the room was clean, but the showers leak water onto the floor.

The new manager of the Grand River is doing an excellent job. I stay there about once per month, sometimes for 2-3 days in a row. I live in the Roaring Fork Valley but I go to the Grand Valley often as a short getaway and I get a lot of work done in my room where the WiFi is excellent. They always keep the jacuzzi running well and also the laundry facility. This is my favorite hotel in the Glenwood Springs-to-Grand Junction I-70 corridor. The staff overall is friendly and accommodating. The views of the Colorado River wetlands from the third floor are very nice. I wish TCM was on the TV lineup but that’s a minor issue and I can get it on my computer anyway! I love the Grand River in Parachute and also its sister property, the Grand Vista. And you can’t get a better price anywhere. Kudos!

there are a couple things to note here. The first is the exceptional staff - the men I talked to about staying there the night I got there were great, and very helpful! I have a few inconveniences which is causing me to rate this property 3 stars. First, the price was advertised as $58 on Expedia with free breakfast. Breakfast is not in fact free and costs $14.95. This wasn't an issue for me since I was going to be leaving to get coffee and food at the coffee shop across the street anyways but it's misleading to those who would partake in breakfast. Second, the parking is $14!! it seems a little weird to charge for parking, especially in a place with literally zero people. This also makes the price of $58 for the night i was staying misleading because it's actually $72. Something to think about (apparently, most/all the hotels in Parachute, CO seem to charge for parking. Go figure.) Third and finally, the state of the room was totally fine, except one of the bath towels had a lot of stains (presumably makeup stains). I'm used to seeing these sorts of stains since my fiance sometimes uses a towel to take makeup off, but in a hotel, it makes it appear as if they didn't clean the towel. For the record, all the other towels (three of the four bath towels, both hand towels and both wash clothes) were stain free. I suppose if i hadn't picked the one bath towel i did, I would not have noticed it. Seems like something that should be noted!

The hotel is clean, staff is friendly. Bed is hard as a rock and uncomfortable. This hotel charges a $14 parking fee, like your in Denver, but your in Parachute. The breakfast is unimpressive, especially since they want to charge $15. Don't eat there go over to the Funk Bear Bistro

For the most part everything was fine. The thing that was annoying was they charge you $12 per night to park your car in their parking lot while you pay to stay there. They do not tell you this when you book the room. They also charge you $15 for breakfast.
