Main road setting so the trucks roaring past at night but the saving grace here was the setup inside with the bathroom facing the front, which kept the noise down. Outside was ok, with undercover parking. Yardwork could do with grass mowing and a tidy up. But there is a bbq area to use. Inside was ok. Beds comfy. Great view outback window. Internet worked. Shower pressure was fantastic. So a great place. Just a little out of town so you can't walk to shops, restaurants etc. Fantastic little town with the Galic history on show. A real surprise. Well done.

The room was great, my kids really lived the electric blankets on beds. The staff were great. My disappointment of the motel was that the kettle was quite dirty inside and took me a while to clean it out before use The wifi use that can be used was quite poor. I had to use my own hotspot to use and even then it was poor reception. The use of network was high. I enjoyed the area and the town.

Only if you are desperate
This motel is run by people who should not be in the hospitality industry. We booked for three nights and needed to demand that our room be serviced. The advertised free breakfast also had to be demanded. Apart from this the rooms are close to the highway and noisy. We are frequent visitors to Glen Innes and will never stay at the Clansman again.

did not like the did not refress the tea coffee sugar or soap or towels for the 4 days we were there did not make the beds we sort saying there that long you have your room cleaned once or refressed. breakfast was what ever they had on hand on choice what you had on toast. with just enoft milk for breakfast and 2 cups of tea.

We Will Not Be Back - Such Poor Service
If you're just looking for an overnight bed, then this is fine. However, if you need any assistance then it is a BIG miss! Despite booking and attempting to contact due to late arrival, the on-Site manager returned our call eventually and came across as annoyed. Upon arrival the included free breakfast was not in our room and the manager refused to provide without apology and any hospitality effort. Not what we expected from the other reviews and a long day on the road. To top it off, the previous guest's rubbish hadn't been cleared, giving us hygiene concerns in these COVID times. Overpriced without the breskfast for sure.

Good value!
This motel is an older one, but it has been renovated to a good standard. The aircon was efficient and quiet, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom facilities good. And it was spotless. A breakfast tray is included in the price, and there is a microwave and toaster. We would certainly stay there again.

We arrived at this hotel and we were given a room with a queen bed only. We booked and paid for a family room through hotels.com. We have 2 children and they advised they couldn’t accommodate us in their family room as they had booked it out. They advised they didn’t have spare beds for our children or mattresses we could put on the floor in the room they gave us. The Clansmen hotel couldn’t give us a refund. We did not stay at this hotel and we’re lucky enough to find somewhere else in Glen Innes that had a family room. We were advised that the computer system booked us in a queen room and they weren’t aware of this being incorrect until we arrived to check in. They were not empathetic at all. We will not book here again.

Very clean an neat rooms. Service was excellent. Undercover parking at your door was great. Just needs to see a little bit more maintenance, but really needs a refresh of carpet, curtains and full bathroom update to bring it up to the 2020s. Overall though, we were very happy with out stay.
