Nanny and Poppy's Beach House has everything you need for a perfect beach holiday - literally. It sleeps 10 across 5 bedrooms, 2 with en-suite. It has stunning views of Seven Mile Beach, an upstairs outdoor deck with opening verandah roof, bistro blinds, gas BBQ, gas outdoor heater and spa, an indoor deck for windy days, a lawn area downstairs, short cut to the beach, outdoor hot and cold shower, baby equipment, fantastic kitchen and living area....and the rest. You will not easily find a better spot for a family holiday in Gerroa! Suitable only for families or respectful groups given that the owners live in a separate unit upstairs.

** Booking for peak season (mid Dec 2021 to end Jan 2022) **
Changeover day for the coming peak season is Friday. When booking between mid-December and Australia Day, please select 7 night blocks that start and end on the changeover day. ** Where will I be? **
Nanny and Poppy's Beach House has an elevated position on Headland Drive and is an easy walk to the Fisherman's club (100 metres), the Blue Swimmer Café (300 metres), or the beach (500 metres). Nanny and Poppy's Beach House is a true home away from home, supplied with everything you could need for your beach holiday. The views are to die for, the spa is a bonus, and if it is windy, you still have a lovey, internal deck area where you can sit and enjoy the views. The house is spacious and comfortable, with lovely natural light in the open plan living / kitchen area which has high cathedral ceilings.
The owners also kindly supply spa towels, Wi-Fi, Netflix, 2 x kayaks, a beach umbrella, kids toys and boogie boards for your use!
** Is there any special information I should know about? **
The owners live upstairs in a totally separate unit. They will not disturb you at all during your stay and sound does not travel between the levels. The owners will however report any unruly, noisy or inappropriate behaviour to us as the managing agents. Please be aware of this, making the house suitable only for families or respectful groups. No party groups - thanks!
** How is the property laid out? **
The unit is laid out on one split level. You have your own private entrance and hot and cold outdoor shower. Once inside, there are 5 bedrooms, 2 en-suites, 1 powder room,1 shared bathroom. One of the bedrooms is a large kids room with queen bed, single bed and bean bags. Bedroom 3 also has a small annex with cot and changing table, perfect for a couple with a very young children. There is an internal laundry which includes a washing machine and clothes dryer. From the laundry there is side access to the garden level as one steps up into the main living area. This is a very large open plan lounge, dining and kitchen room with cathedral ceilings. The living area connects to the internal deck, as well as the external deck which has the spa and gas BBQ plus plenty of outdoor seating.
Stairs also lead down from the large external deck to a lower level where you will find a newly renovated full outdoor bathroom, a grassed / lawn area, an undercover area below the decks above, and steps that lead to the short cut to the beach.
** WI-FI, internet, Netflix or pay tv- will I have it? **
This property provides complimentary NBN Wi-Fi and a password will be provided in your pre-arrival email. The owners also allow you to use their Netflix and Fetch TV accounts. This property also features a premium FOXTEL package for guest enjoyment. Please note however that neither South Coast Holidays nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi or Netflix will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If Wi-Fi is important during your stay, please have a back up plan.
** What about outdoors? **
Nanny and Poppy's Beach House allows you to sit on the full width external deck, compete with spa and gas BBQ. Stairs also lead down from the large external deck to a lower level which has a grassed / lawn area, an undercover area below the decks above, and steps that lead to the short cut to the beach.
** Keeping warm or keeping cool?! **
This property has air conditioning in both the living area and the large kids bedroom - for both heating and cooling. Every bedroom in the house has ceiling fans and wall heaters. The house can be opened up as much as possible to catch the ocean breeze. In cooler months, if the reverse cycle air conditioning is not enough, there is also a fireplace! There is also an outdoor gas heater on the deck.
** What about sheets, towels and other supplies? **
High quality sheets and towels are provided including a towel for use in the Spa. Please bring your own beach towels as well if you plan to visit Seven Mile Beach, Shoalhaven, or other nearby beaches!
Toilet paper, kitchen soaps, guest soaps and some other supplies are also provided, but please be prepared to top up during your stay as needed. Regarding food, condiments and the like, please plan to bring everything you need. For safety and hygiene reasons, our houses generally do not supply food items.
** Parking for cars, boats etc.? **
This property has 3 to 4 secure off street parking spaces dependent on the size of each vehicle. Access is fairly tight and best suited to small/normal sized cars. If parking is tight or difficult, there is additional parking diagonally across the road.
** Is my dog or cat also welcome to stay? **
Yes, Nanny & Poppy's Beach House is pet friendly. The yard is fully fenced. Please keep any dogs off the furniture or beds. Please also clean up behind your canine friend! Cats and other pets are also welcome upon request.
** What are the minimum stay rules? **
There is a minimum two night stay for all bookings, which changes to three nights on long weekends, four nights at Easter and seven night blocks during peak season. Peak season runs from mid-December to the end of January.
** Are there any special Peak Season rules? **
Please note that during peak season, our properties have designated changeover days to make the cleaning rosters manageable. We also do not generally schedule arrivals on the Christmas, Boxing, and New Years Day public holidays.
