Hi Zane,As per the booking you made through Wotif for 1 adult,you turned up with 4 adults, the staff on duty explained the type of room you booked did not cater for 4 adults and two room would have to be taken.Your left with the other 3 adults and never check into the motel.

The Belmercer Motel feels we should mention that we have staff members check all rooms and all equipment and facilities are working in the rooms prior to guests checking in and once again when they depart and the venetian blinds in the room you stayed in, closed completely, so we are unsure why you state they didn’t join. Unfortunately, the Belmercer Motel cannot control the external lights from the street and from other businesses in the nearby area, however we do note that we have return customers who request these front facing rooms for each of their stays with us.Belmercer Motel also feels it is important to note that the lovely staff member who was on duty during your stay actually moved the four bins onto the opposite side of the driveway in front of the restaurant, as the bins belong to the restaurant so as the noise from the rubbish collection in the morning would not disturb any guests staying at the property.Kind Regards

Hello Elisse,Thank you for taking the time to review the Belmercer Motel, we appreciate all guest feedback.We note that you stayed at the Belmercer Motel for two nights and over the course of your two-night stay with us, you choose to make no comments to any staff on duty regarding any concerns or complaints you had despite seeing staff on multiple occasions throughout your stay with us.Our housekeeping staff have an eye for detail and the rooms are given a detailed cleaning between each and every guests stay with us which includes the carpet being vacuumed. In regard to needing an extra roll of toilet paper, the Belmercer Motel provides at all times two rolls of toilet paper in the room, one on the toilet roll holder and a spare located nearby in the bathroom, during housekeeping the staff check on the levels of all amenities and replace what is required, if however after housekeeping has finished their shift, if you require extra amenities because you have used them, then a friendly member of our reception staff is able to collect them for you. Housekeeping staff attend the rooms of all guests staying multiple nights and give the room a clean through including mopping the bathroom floor, replacing towels and amenities, pulling up the bed and vacuuming the floor.In the future we suggest you discuss any complaints or concerns with the staff member on duty so they can be observed, documented and resolved at the time they are occurring as senior management are unable to attend and resolve situations that are being reported days after check out.Kind Regards
