I had the worse hotel experience at Victorian Condos in my life! Hotels.com needs to HIGHLY CONSIDER NOT recommending ANY of their properties to consumers. I could not have been treated any worse by this company!
Moreover, the staff at the Victorian lobby was not able to assist me in ANY way because AB Rentals controlled the particular unit I was in. “Your unit is outside of our pool of rooms, so you must work directly with AB Rentals.”
Electrical outlets in the unit did not work. I called the after-hours emergency number and left a message. They returned my call and assured me they would resolve the issue that day. They never came and fixed the electrical outlet, nor did they call me back. I called back that evening and they told me they would submit a work order for Sunday, after I checked out. “There was nothing more they could do.”
I told them I was negatively impacted by the inability to use the electrical outlets and requested a partial refund for the impact and inconvenience. I was told that the manager would return on Monday and they would talk with them and “make it right.” The general manager was rude, condescending and only offered a $50 credit towards a future stay. He refused my request for a refund regardless of the circumstances.
Victorian Condos are SUB-STANDARD & OUTDATED, and their property is NOT MAINTAINED. The stairwell near our unit had a flickering light with a utility ladder propped against the wall during our entire stay.
