Just as described, good value
Absolutely beautiful little beach house less than a quarter mile walk from a free public beach. Probably one of the best stocked short term rentals I've ever stayed at -- the kitchen had everything you could think of. Good communication with the host. Nice, quiet neighborhood. Our only issues were pretty minor -- the patio doorknob didn't work but the lock did. And the bunk bend was incredibly noisy -- you could hear my son turning in his sleep through the wall -- but there was plenty of space so he slept on a different bed for the remaining nights. The rooms are very, very small but there's plenty of storage. I appreciated the coat racks and hooks everywhere.

We stayed 4 days/3 nights at this property. There were no surprises--it was found exactly as it was listed. The property was clean, well cared for, and updated. I appreciated having the outdoor water hose to rinse off shoes after our beach walks. The outside balcony was terrific for enjoying evenings outside as we listened to the waves. The neighborhood was quiet and well-maintained. We were about the third row back from the beachfront. Our walk to the beach was about a city block away, with a choice at the beach to stay on a public access beach or walk on a beach without motorized vehicles. Everything was close on the island from this location, but far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle of the seawall and traffic. I would definitely come back and stay again. The owners were quick to answer a call and help with follow-up texts and messages through the VRBO app. If you're looking for a place to sleep that's near the beach and is convenient to Galveston Island's activities, you should consider this cute house!

Softball Tournament Stay
Us and another family stayed here for 4 nights while our girls played in a softball tournament in Galveston. The house is close enough to be super convenient but just far enough away to be off the seawall craziness. We were maybe 7-10 minutes from the fields and were able to come and go between games as needed. You can see the water and feel super relaxed on the deck. There are some convenience stores close but I was able to drive to Walmart 7-8 minutes away as well as get stuff way cheaper and it not be a huge trip. The house was well stocked! We really appreciated it having beach chairs to take down so we didn’t have to get sand all over our game chairs. The kids loved the sand toys and boogie boards too! The beach is a 1 minute walk maybe! You’ll have access to private, no drive beach to your left and driveable access to your right which gets VERY crowded. We had large families come join us for beach time on the walkable areas with plenty of space. Truly, the house was great! I only had to buy food for us and paper plates/cups because I was not washing dishes on vacation but there is a dishwasher! Suggestions: - do not rent a golf cart. We did and there’s literally no where to drive it. It was a waste of money. This does not reflect on the quality of the house though! - a few extra blankets and towels would truly be my only recommendation for the homeowners as I did do lots of laundry while there to keep up with all our sandy, softball playing kids. - we did struggle with the lock, getting it to lock, but maybe it was user error haha

Great home near beach
As others have said, the pictures don’t do it justice. The home is a lot nicer than the pictures show. We went for a week for our 15 years old’s birthday at her request. The home was very nice and clean. It was an easy walk to the beach. It was very quiet and peaceful. I was worried because the house next door was rented to a bunch of partiers for the 4th of July and they were loud! To my surprise, we could not really hear them from inside the house. The kitchen was well equipped and we made several meals there. The lock is electronic and did not work one day. I called Vinh and he was very nice and responsive and got it working. Overall, we really liked this place and would come back again.

Very Comfortable
Everything was great. The kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable! It’s a short walk to the beach and the front deck is perfect for enjoying the ocean breeze.
