Disliked: Cleanliness
Great location but..
First, I will start with the pros:
House is in a great location, and no golf cart was necessary to get to the beach in a timely manner. The layout of the house is great and the rooms were spacious.
Now for the cons:
Although it is not the owners or the property managers responsibility, the neighboring property on the right had septic issues. Every evening the septic system would be overflowing and a pool of sewage and smell would be along the fence line to where we could not enjoy hanging out outside to play games under the house. Called several times asking if someone could try to get a hold of the neighbor next-door or have someone come out and speak to them to get a phone number and nothing was done about it. Not only is it a sanitary issue but other guests are also going to complain about it. The Wi-Fi did not work 90% of the time. cleaning crew definitely needs to step it up. We had to clean once we arrived ourselves. I know we’re at the beach, and there will be sand in the house. But the amount of sand that was left on the floors, all over the house, including ON the dining room table, the benches and the couch, was excessive. Everything had to be wiped down. There was a pair of dirty underwear hanging in the shower in the hallway, which tells us that the bathroom was not cleaned properly.
The refrigerator on the left side of the kitchen was not cold, and we had to move all of our food over to the one on the right.
All agreed that New mattresses are needed.
