Utter Seclusion on 600 Feet of Waterfront , Free WiFi

Situated on 600 feet of both rocky and sandy beach, this contemporary home sits on one of San Juan Island's largest stretches of private waterfront, attracting deer, owls, fox, seals, otters and bald eagles. Take in the 180 degree view from Spieden Island to Mount Baker. You will welcome the amazing morning sunrises to spectacular sunsets from this uniquely situated home.
We supply crab pots, shrimp pots and dip nets which you can use right off the beach. Go down at night with a flashlight and the dip net. Shine the light into the water and the shrimp come to the surface. Some guests like to scuba dive off our property which is full of crab and scallop.
Except at very high tide, at the bottom of the wooden stairs, there is a cove to launch kayaks. This side of the Island is the safest for kayaking and almost always calm.
The open floor plan in this home has a spiral staircase to sleeping loft that sleeps 4. The bedroom has super-comfortable California King bed with views of the water. The casual dining right off the completely equipped kitchen and just steps from the outdoor deck. Wood stove in the living room will make this a pleasant stay in cooler months too!

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for us, and we will be returning in the future. I had kayaked the San Juans 20 years ago with my son and his friends and always wanted to bring my husband. We explored all the wonderful places on the island and the weather was great. The kitchen was outfitted with everything we needed. Thank you for the opportunity to stay here!

Thank you to our hosts for letting us stay in their beautiful property. Close enough to Friday Harbor for quick grocery or lunch trips, but secluded enough to not worry about humans around you. We enjoyed the views, nature, and even saw Orcas right in front of the house. House was clean, and the property owners was very responsive and helpful. Great vacation!

This is such an amazing property with the most beautiful view from the back deck! My partner and I stayed here for a few days and it was just perfect for us and our dog! Theres a ton of space to walk and play outside, and its close to both Friday Harbor and Roche Harbor!

We had such an awesome time staying in this home, it was so pretty inside, clean and cozy! The view is amazing and we will definitely return for another stay. We loved our stay here. The location is superb — about equal distance (short drives) to all the places we wanted to visit. It is quiet and with a dynamite view over the water to the other islands. The home had everything we could have wanted.

We had the best time staying at Point Caution! We had a nice, but rainy time exploring the island and knowing we had a cozy place to return to each day was heavenly.
