"Amazing hotel!"
This was an amazing hotel! We stayed there for 3 nights and loved every minute of it. The staff was absolutely amazing (especially Elena) and accommodating, the rooms were very spacious and comfortable and the hotel's location is within a few minutes walking distance from all the great sites. We will definitely stay there again!

"Great Location, Classic European Hoten"
Hotel is in a great place. a 5 min walk from the Train station and Bus drop off from the Airport. Just 3 or 4 blocks to the San Lorenzo Market, and a 10 minute walk from the Duomo, with lots of GREAT restaurants close by. I was there for a conference at the convention center and it was just a 5 minute walk over there. This was a great value hotel at 70 euros more or less for a standard room. In classic European style, the rooms are quite small, but comfortable. In my room, 201, the shower was tight, I stand in at 5 11 and 230, and the corner shower doors slid where I rubbed a little going in... if you are big, you may want to be sure the shower will fit you. Bed was fine, desk worked, wireless was fine. Breakfast was very good with pastires, salami, cheese, hardboiled eggs, some fruit, juices and yogurt. I would stay here again as the location is great, and I am not there for the hotel, I am there for the place. If hanging in the hotel is your thing, you will be cramped... if a comfortable, clean room with helpful staff and great place to see Florence or attend a Convention is your reason be there, this hotel works fine.

San Gallo Palace Hotel - Florence Hotels

San Gallo Palace Hotel

Via Lorenzo Il Magnifico 2, Florence - Map
"We keep returning"
Staying at San Gallo Palace is like visiting family. We just returned from from a week's stay (our 5th or 6th) at San Gallo Palace. The staff are like old friends, always thoughtful and polite. Georgia, Jetmir, Linda, Luca, Paola at the front desk and George and Lilly at the bar (we miss Ezzat) are a pleasure to know and could not be more helpful. They help us with recommendations, reservations, transportation, whatever. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to town, a little further out than some of the others, but the rates are very reasonable and we're so comfortable at the San Gallo, we just keep going back. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and relaxing. Free breakfast and WIFI. Overall, hotel is an excellent value with a wonderful staff. We're already looking forward to our next trip back.

Great hotel in a perfect location. We had a deluxe room which was a good size and a huge bathroom including full bath. Very easy to get the sites - everything is in walking distance. Plenty of decent restaurants at good prices. We will be going back!

Hotel Panorama - Florence Hotels

Hotel Panorama

Via Cavour, 60, Florence - Map
"Great view of Florence."
We stayed in room 16 which is on the third floor with a nice balcony view of Florence. This room had a twin bed setup with an additional single bed for a third person. The twin bed was fairly hard to sleep on. The hotel office is located on the second floor, which was a little confusing at first. Luckily they do have an elevator. Overall the Panorama is a near little hotel five to ten minutes walking from many of Florence attractions. If you arrive by train, the best bet is to take the number 1 bus to the San Marco plaza and walk from there. Dragging luggage on the sidewalk is a big drag.
