Don't be fooled by the style of hotel as it's a blend of student and hotel on the property but it's a very well run and executed system. Very good people and very good food in a unique place very close to the train station Santa Maria Novella. Give it a try and you won't be disappointed. Rooms are not too spacious but they are clean and you're only there to sleep. Enjoy it.

Traveling with my husband around Italy. We booked this stay for three nights in Florence. We were pleasantly surprised at the hotel. Upon walking in, the energy is super cute modern and youthful. Check in was smooth. They allowed us to leave our luggage until check in time while we explored the city. Rooms are medium sized , just enough space for two people . Clean and comfy beds. Clean comfy shower. Eco focused hotel which was a big bonus. Breakfast was included with our rooms and it did not disappoint . As far as hotel breakfasts go, this was pretty decent . The hotel also has a super cool rooftop bar and pool with a nice view of Florence. Does get packed at sunset. The hotel also notably offers a variety of activities as they do cater to students. My husband and I did not feel out of place amongst the younger college crowds. There was a good mix of age groups . We did not experience any issues with noise in our rooms . If our trip wasn’t so focused on exploring Florence, I would have loved to experience all the cool things the hotel offers. Would stay again.

The room was clean, very small. The price reflects the accomodations. It was on the cheaper side. I liked the staff, rooftop and proximity to attractions. The food was not so good.

I like how nice the room was--the bathroom especially--and how the hotel so many necessities (such as food) and entertainment (such as the ping pong table) within one building. It's a wonderful place to stay when getting acquainted with the city.

Great property, short 10-15 minute walk to the main shopping/dining and attractions! Room is nice and clean, the hotel is quite big, it is interesting exploring the hotel to get to the roof top bar and the gym. It is great views of the city from roof top!

The social hub is perfect for anyone interested in being a digital nomad in Florence or just wanting a quick getaway. The social hub was massive with coworking spaces, breakfast, a gym and even a rooftop bar. Plenty of spots to hangout and the location is so convenient for a walk around the city

The morning buffet is excellent. We have the lake view from the bedroom. The roof top view is amazing . The reason I can’t give 5stars because I tripped & fell during breakfast, my husband and I decided to go to the patio next to dining area. The door and floor is black color and no proper marking on the floor. There’s a step lower in going to the outside patio. FYI I was wearing my comfy Hoka shoes yet my right foot got caught in the ledge by the door . I lost my balance and landed on my knees. I sustained bruising and scrapes on my right knee. Limping and aching for the remaining trip in Italy. Back in 🇨🇦 now. The last 2 weeks was pain and discomfort. Finally this week the pain scale has reduced to 2/10. My husband joke… I climbed the amphitheaters in Pompeii and colosseum fine .Yet I fell in the hotel in Florence . In fairness the staff were very helpful and efficient in providing me ice for my knee. Also there was this sweet lady guest in the hotel who came to me and check if I was ok. I just want to say Grazie!

Lovely modern hotel right by the station. Quiet and really neat. The gym is not a gym, it is a bedroom with two machines in it - so don't book on that basis!

Had to go to the desk 3 times to get a room first 2 were “unavailable”. They did upgrade me but that room tv didn’t work hot water didn’t work. And by then I had been carrying my bags with no help offered for 2 prior room searches. The whole stay was defeating as was my birthday present trip and not a good experience

The overall stay was nice, walkable to lots of tourists attractions and train station. The social hub offers free laundry which is very convenient. But the laundry is basically in another connected building so it was quite hard to find for the first time. Plus, our room has mosquitoes.

A place to remember!!!
Absolutely excellent… if you want to stay in Florence and interact with the local people and don’t like too much noise, close to trains terminals that will connect you to other city’s in Italy. THE SOCIAL HUB is your place!!! The staff was very friendly, curious, attentive and self explanatory. Very clean and neat…the 01c70ef1-a1b8-4c0c-a239-813f88b67237 only problem I encounter the bed wasn’t comfortable at all… other than that everything was very nice.

This is THE place to stay
Don't let the descriptions fool you into thinking that this is a student dorm renting vacant rooms. This is a full service hotel that just happens to have rooms dedicated to foreign students studying abroad. The amenities are first rate and the rooftop bar/pool/fitness centre has one of the most amazing views of Florence you could find. An in-house restaurant and coffee shop add to the convenience. It is an eclectic facility and well used by both students and travellers alike. Conveniently located and within reasonable walking distance to many of the local sites, it is highly recommended.

Large, trendy, pleasant hotel. Nice comfortable room. Friendly reception staff. Lots of fun share spaces in the hotel. Wonderful rooftop terrace pool and bar with great views over the historic center. Close to tram lines, somewhat walkable from the train station, reasonable distance from historic area.

The staff in this hotel/student resort were very friendly and helpful. The laundry room is a big plus for one has traveled 1 week accumulated pile of dirty clothes. I was able to do my laudry and refresh my wardrobe for another week.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Social Hub. Although the majority of the guests were students, we felt welcome as seniors. The staff went out of their way to be helpful. Good location - walkable from the train station and the meeting point for many tours but out of the busy downtown.

I would call this place the Anti Social hub. I found most people rude and disrespectful here, guests and staff both. There was just one girl at the reception who was from Milan who was helpful and friendly but the main thing is that if you are 25 yrs old and over this is not a place for you to stay. It's like a college dormitory with so many students. There is a longterm construction happening in front of the building and very loud drilling with big machinary didn't let us sleep all night. After switching to a courtyard room it was much better except for the very loud party they had one night to welcome the students. It's a bit of a walk from the center so if you are going to be going to the tourist attractions this is not the most central or convenient place. Also it's a shame to have such a mediocre food quality in the best part of the world that's famous for its food. The most basic restaurant in the city center has better food than this place.

Disliked: Staff & service, property conditions & facilities
Staff was unwelcoming and uninterested in providing information about the hotel, was dismissive. The wifi did not work on our floor the entire stay, even after multiple calls to reception to get it looked into. Building facilities are old and basic.
