The stay was a little rough. The location of the hotel was amazing. About a 15-minute walk to all the main tourist activities and right on the old Florance bridge.
Before we arrived I emailed the hotel requesting that they have the three individual beds set up. Upon arrival, they informed me that they had not set up the beds in that manner despite having received the email request. They then said, it was too late now and it will just need to be done tomorrow. I then inquired about the upgrade that Expedia VIP members receive to which he said, “We don’t have anything” so I decided to call it a night and wake up to their breakfast. The female working the breakfast was very nice but unfortunately, the breakfast was not. After a really long day, we headed back to the hotel where I could not get one single English or Spanish TV channel. No Netflix, no YouTube, nothing. I realize I’m in a foreign country but in all my extensive travels, I’ve never stayed anywhere that didn’t at least include one. I called and his response was, “maybe there’s something wrong" but they never fixed the Netflix option or limited channels during the remainder of my stay.
In a nutshell, the location is the best part of the hotel. The restaurant is lacking, the service is inconsistent (sometimes friendly & welcoming while other times they acted annoyed by answering yet another tourist question).
