This is quite a quirky place with plenty of restaurants downstairs. Bar Toto is excellent.

The property is a large building with amazing restaurants, shops and stalls below. A great fun feeling about the place. Plenty of cafes clubs and hotels all walking distance.

Resort was good value with a range of well priced options. Staff are friendly and the location is superb....close to everything.

Great property. Very interesting architecture. Stunning newly renovated rooms. Only drawback was having to get up in the middle of the night to switch the aircon back on. As the warmth of the room would wake me up.

Will not stay again

The swimming pool closes at 5pm, if you want a microwave there is a hire fee of $15. We where there for 2 nights and our tea/coffee,sugar etc where not replenished. The lady I returned our key to was very unfriendly and did not even give me eye contact.

THank you for your feedback. We are required to have opening closing hours on the pool because of its location near the cinemas. We are motel rooms not apartments so our rooms are not self contained (escept for family suites that have kitchenettes). We charge a microwave fee as staff has to take it to the room, remove it, clean it and for wear and tear to the microwave. We do advise via a sign on reception, in the room compendium and a notice given to guests on checkin regardiong room servicing, that stays for longer than 1 night are serviced after the 2nd night. We do mention in the compendium that you are welcome to ask reception for additional tea/coffee/sugar. Reception staff are very busy on the computer organising a festival in addition to their office work - apologies if you thought she was unfriendly.

It had more than just accomodation. It had markets ,entertainment, artwork, places to eat all in one spot.

The Ettalong Gem

The hotel was amazing as far as its decor. It is Mediterranean, Tiles, decor to suit. Lots of eateries, close to beach and own markets on the weekend. The bed was comfortable. There are movie theatres there too.

Thank you for your feedback. Reception staff often have to attend to guests and were upstairs helping a guest. There is a phone on the wall outside reception clearly marked asking guests to pick it up if office is closed. There is also a similar phone on the reception desk. All guests are rung to confirm their checkin time and advised to use this phone if the office is closed. We hope you enjoyed your stay.
