Dinner service was slow and the food quality was low; Staff were otherwise friendly. Bed was hard and it took 24 hours and a second request to get extra pillows. We paid for a lake view suite, but the view was blocked by a big sign in front of our balcony unless you were standing. Hot tub was colder than the pool.

The bed was not comfortable. The meal at the hotel was 30 euros per person and it was not good. My steak was inedible with so much connective tissue and tendons. I couldn't even chew and swallow. I would not stay here again and would definitely never eat here again.

This property is in the Italian Alps and is therefore a distance from a town- like setting. It is fully self contained and beautiful. The staff were very attentive and both breakfast and dinner meals were great. It rained a fair amount the first day of our stay, but in some ways that added to the ambiance. Well worth visiting!

The hotel is idea for visiting some of the Dolomites. It is very close to Tre Cime di Lavaredo. They serve a wonderful breakfast buffet that is included. The indoor pool is wonderful, clean and modern. The one negative thing is in Aug they are turning on the heat morning and evening. We were on the fourth floor and our upstairs room was terribly hot. We had to ask for sheets because the comforters were down filled. We inquired about the heat and they couldn't do anything about it. We asked for a fan and they didn't have any. There is no air conditioning because most times they dont need it. Overall great place otherwise.

fantastic Misurina
The hotel is not new, it’s in the traditional alpine style, perhaps a little dated in parts, but it is clean, comfortable and warm and suited our purposes. Bathrooms are functional, shower was good. There was no tea or coffee making facility in the rooms but the bar staff supplied a pot of hot water and cups for us to make our own tea, and glasses for water or wine when asked. You could probably argue a bottle of water and a glass isn’t too much to ask for a 4* hotel, given the dehydrating effects of altitude. Whatever the hotel doesn’t supply can be purchased in the Spar store below, facing the lake; water, wine, beer, snacks, plasters for blisters, shampoo, conditioner etc. Ski hire is available in the next store. Breakfast, the buffet has a good selection of delicious fresh pastries, some fruit, meats and cheeses etc. The dinner menu includes an amazing buffet of fabulous vegetables and salads. It would be nice to have a fixed price for just the buffet rather than the whole dinner menu. It’s €30 for the dinner menu of 4 courses, so €15 for the buffet would be reasonable, even €20 as the soup and fresh fruit were also on the buffet, giving you a decent 3 course supper. The extra two courses and puddings were good but not remarkable. The location is fantastic.

Misurina - the good and the bad
There are positives and negatives about the Hotel Misurina. First, the location - fantastic. An amazing view (see pic). Easy to get to Cortina or Tre Cime. If this is the most important element of your stay, or the hotel is simply a place to sleep, then this hotel is fine. Our room (Suite with lake view) was ok. Lots of space, clean, great view. But a bit tired and worn. The breakfast was poor. There's lots of it, but of variable quality. Fruit, cake and croissants were good; scrambled egg, bacon and sausages were awful - just stodge. There are 2 self service coffee machines which give bland coffee (this is Italy after all - the coffee should be amazing!) I asked for a cappuccino from a waiter, ie not from the machine. Not much difference. The breakfast service finished at 09.30, so don't sleep in. Breakfast feels overcrowded and rushed. The front desk were ok, but not particularly friendly and not particularly knowledgable about the area. We didn't trust the hotel for dinner and went for an excellent pizza next door. All in all the hotel feels a bit tired, overworked, and in need of some care, attention and investment. We were there in low season (October), it will be rammed, and more stressed, in high season... If you just need a base from which to explore the area, and the hotel is just for sleeping, then it's fine. As a 4* hotel though it feels tired...

This hotel doesnt even deserve onr star!!! The whole hotel team were racist towards myself and my mom just because we were asians and she was wearing a scarf... Treated us very bad and angry and loud staff who just gave us pain and torture and tried to make fun of us!

Probably the best hotel in the area.
Perfect location! Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Disappointed they couldn’t seat us for dinner our first night there after the waitress had said we could eat.

The property was nice, but I had a bad experience with the restaurant manager. He was clearly discriminatory for whatever reason. There is a large dining area for guests during breakfast/dinner with many tables. The first morning I apparently sat at a table with a "reserved" tag without realizing it and instead of moving me to many tables with no reserve tag he moved me far away from the dining area and all others, next to the bar. It seemed strange, but I was humble and gracious and didn't say anything. That night I came in and got a glass of wine at the bar. The bartender was nice and I asked her if I could grab a seat pointing to the empty dining area, and she said yes of course. As soon as I sat, out of nowhere the restaurant manager comes up to me and asks me not to sit there. There was no business, the place was empty, and it didn't make sense. On the 3rd day, I went to breakfast and made sure I sat at a corner table with no reservation tag out of fear he would come up to me. Sure enough, he comes up and says, sir, you cannot sit there, this table is reserved. I said, there's no reservation tag, and many others with sitting down at tables around me with no reservation tags, and were not asked to move. He put me far on the other side of the dining area, away from everyone. I felt like an unwanted guest. Very uncomfortable. I complained to the manager, but the whole experience was upsetting and I would not return because of it.

Hated the experience of booking this hotel. We had an issue with my soon, related to the altitude, and had to cancel the trip. They charged the same, not even interested to understand my soon’s heath. Please double-check before booking here, once their customer care is ridiculously inefficient.

Location was great but room and facilities were LSY century. Dated and a lot of the amenities don’t make sense. Have a kitchen but no cookeries. Bed is in a strangely arranged “compartment”. Would have stayed in Cortina and drive up/down 30min everyday.

Great hotel but restaurant needs more staffing
We greatly appreciate the hotel for giving us a beautiful room with a magnificent view of the lake and the mountains. We wish we could have more time to stay longer! We were also very lucky with parking as we happened to pull into the parking lot when another car was leaving even though the whole parking lot was full. We booked the rate that included both dinner and breakfast, and the restaurant was packed with people when we arrived. We were assigned to a table in the back which was furthest away from the window with the excellent lake view, but we didn’t mind about that “no-view” location since we had an excellent view from our own room. We were hoping to get back to our room sooner to enjoy the room and rest after our hike up to Tre Cime, but the service in the dining room was quite slow especially when we were tucked in the back of the restaurant. The set 4-course menu had several choices for appetizer, first course, second course, and dessert. What the waiter didn’t tell us and was not written on the set menu was the included all-you-can-eat salad with lettuce, tomatoes, corn, cabbage, and beets was available. We saw other diners coming back to their table with a plate of salad so I went to ask one of the staff, who immediately accompanied me to the salad area and assembled a generous salad plate based on my choices. After other nearby diners had gotten their dessert, I went to remind our waiter to bring ours and he brought us 3 desserts to share.

+ This hotel is very good location. It has supermarket and bus stop behind the hotel. Just walk 5 mins. And the reception is very friendly. - Before I come i ask for book the parking but the staff said it ok do not book it. But they don't have enough car parking when i arrived so we need to find another parking lot nearby and pay the fee. - In the morning we waiting the staff in front of restaurant around 10 mins for breakfast but no one come so we choose the table by ourselve and queue for wait staffs take us the food around 30 mins. you just see on the table what they have and told the staff behind the table they will take it to your dish and give it to you. Then we go back to our table and one staff come and say like what is your room then he see the paper under tablecloth and said this is not your table you need to change so i ask him to bring us to our room table and i find the note under tablecloth it have nothing no room No. and i think this table has someone use before we come and they finish becase the new table have sauce and break but this table do not have and next table near us have a lot of used dishes. It is make me so upset with your service. - the wall room is very thin my room is near the stair and the next room has a baby so we hear the noisy all night.

Guests’ opinions are very important to improve quality and efficiency of our services. We’re sorry you weren’t totally satisfied with your stay. Nevertheless, we are able to reply to your concerns. We do have plenty of parking at the hotel: free outdoor parking and indoor garage subject to payment – both of them according to availability, but the garage is actually upon reservation (so you could have reserved it). There is even plenty of city parking next to the hotel. Table assignment at breakfast is very fast. There is the panel “Wait here to be seated” and then when the table is ready we do accompany our guests to their table. You chose not to wait and sat, wrongfully, at someone else’s table. That’s why you were moved – you didn’t give us the chance, actually, to clean your table. Be patient and not rush things next time. We can assure you our walls are not thin, it is not possible you had issues with noises from the stairs. We’re glad, anyway, you appreciated the stunning location of Grand Hotel Misurina, set on the homonymous lake, and the kindness of our reception staff. Hoping to see you again at Grand Hotel Misurina or in one another of our over 30 properties all over Italy. Best regards.

Better than expected
We could not find a place to stay around and we decided to book this hotel. We were not so convinced at the beginning since the pictures of the rooms were a bit dark and the bedsheets very old style. We had no better choice, so we decided to book it last minute. We arrived a few minutes after the booking, in the afternoon. The system could not find us and they asked us to wait in the lobby until they could find our booking. In the end we didn't have to wait that long and we got an upgraded room that had another floor with a sofa, it was like a duplex. The bedroom had lake views, and was brighter than in the pictures. The bed was very comfortable. We had internet in the room, some of the comments I read were saying that there was just internet in the common areas. Regarding the buffet breakfast, due to covid reasons you have to cue with the other guests and ask what you want to the staff, they will put it on your plate for you. Also you have to be careful where you sit, the tables were not reserved and we just sat in the first free table we saw. A few minutes later, when we already were eating, the waiter came and told us that this table was reserved for people that had booked also dinner. Since we had booked just 1 night with breakfast, we had move to another table immediately. Even if we already started eating our breakfast. It was very uncomfortable, we felt like we did something wrong. The table we got afterwards was smaller and no views. A clear downgrade. Not good CRM!

Awesome Views!
I highly recommend this hotel. The location is superb with beautiful scenery. One of the most naturally beautiful places on Earth! Pictures don’t do justice. The staff was very helpful. Large rooms. Only complaint would be parking is tight but staff helped us find a spot.

The Grand Hotel Misurina is a very famous and historical building of the area. It is, however, frequently renovated and very well maintained. Its furnishing is very typical, wooden and mountain-style. Our restaurant service is wisely managed by our chef and our Food & Beverage office, which chooses every day the best raw materials in order to provide our guests with various and tasteful menus. It is clearly stated on our website and during the booking process that some costs are extra. We are surprised you didn’t get those information. Absolutely amazing hotel in one of the most beautiful settings I’ve ever seen. The area in the mountains is breathtaking! The hotel is beautiful and immaculate. The rooms are spotless and comfortable and the staff is beyond friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough good things about this amazing place!
