Super breakfast and dining area with lovely staff. Close to transport. Room was clean and functional mostly, but the windows were super old and didn’t close fully. Cold and noisy. Staff said they’d get maintenance on it but never did. Reception staff did their jobs ok but some had bad attitude and were even curt and snide.

The Hotel is in a very accessible area. Plenty of public transit options and very easy to get to/from. The hotel itself was nice and the staff was friendly and the room was a good size with large windows. I went to drop my bags at about 945am the day of my booking end they told me my room was ready which was a pleasant surprise after a red eye flight from the US. A couple things that could have been better, the bed in the hotel was very thin and firm,I was traveling alone but had my partner been with me the firmness of the bed would have been an issue. The street noise, as mentioned in other reviews was very high and it didn't appear to be the nicest area of Dublin although I didn't have any issues The shower pressure was very strong, normally this is a positive but it's so strong that you have to take extra precautions to make sure the water doesn't spill out on to the bathroom floor. Overall decent experience wouldn't be my first choice to go back to in the area but it would be fine if you're in a pinch.

This was my 3rd stay, over the past year the hotel has had a lot of refurbishment but hasn't been intrusive in any way, and has been done to very high standard I especially liked that I was able to check in early. The staff were very friendly throughout my stay

Expect more for the price
Asked for a low floor but got out on the top floor room 405 to be precise and the lift only goes up to 3. Also asked for a quieter area and outside the window was a train station and an alley full of crack heads shouting till all hours and someone below us being very loud till all hours. Nearly every time we left our room the key stopped working to let us back in even though it wasn’t near other electronics to make it stop. A double bed was two single beds pushed together and the edges made it impossible to be near my wife as it was painful if I lay on the edge of the single bed. Great staff and great breakfast. Restaurant dosent open till 3 and closes at 9 but says open till 11 but dosent specify what time it stopped serving food and was a bit let down by that.

Nice enough room but one of those annoying stall showers with nowhere to place shampoo and soap. Room was fine and staff were friendly. Great central location but be aware some rooms are 10 meters from the train tracks and trams run also so bring earplugs. Other than that, all good.

Room was very dated. Beds hard but slept ok. Breakfast was lovely and a great selection. Very disappointed to have had to pay a €100 deposit considering we didn’t arrive till 2 am and left by 10 am and we are yet to receive the money back 2 weeks later??

Have stayed here before nice bar and dining area although food wasn't great I ended up being ill all night. Room was okay but noisy with very creaky floors in adjacent rooms and above keeping us awake . Also plumbing not great, warm water in the sink from cold tap and cold water only in the shower.

Conveniently located. Much of the hotel has been recently renovated. It is located beside the train tracks. The hotel graciously moved us to a quiet room when we asked. Hot water in the shower. Tea, coffee and a kettle provided in the room .

Staff were extremely accomodating, let me check in early, and gave me a fan on a hot night, which helped a lot. Although an older property, it was clean, and had a lot of appeal. Dining area was amazing, and lobby was interesting. Location was great, close to tram, Paddywagon tour bus, and Dublin Express airport bus. Also plenty of pubs & restaurants in easy walking distance. Outside the hotel, in the nearby square, there appeared to be some vagrants. But I didn't feel threatened by anybody.

Great stay hotel was lovely in parts but certainly needs updating in some areas the room was okay clean etc but very noisy & the bed was awful think the base was broken & the mattress had no support so we didn’t sleep very well other to that the restaurant was lovely for breakfast staff very friendly would stay again but would ask for a better room or upgrade!

Constant train brakes screeching!!!
The hotel is right by a train station which we didn’t notice in the comments we read before booking. Our room (201) faced on to the track and even though we only really spent time in the room to sleep were still disturbed greatly. The trains run constantly from 05.55 to 00.50 and with such ill fitting windows the only option the hotel could provide were ear plugs, so if like me you are a light sleeper this hotel probably isn’t for you!!! The hotel staff were overall very nice apart from being unable to understand our drinks orders at breakfast and the one night we ate in the hotel. It did at times feel like we spoke a very different language.

The curtains were stained or burned. I had to ask for new sheets for the bed in order to sleep over the old ones. The bathroom was in bad condition as well: one light didn't work; one of the handles of the faucet was broken. The property room doesn't match the clientnditions offered by the pictures posted in Expedia. It doesn't worth the $192 that I paid.

Stayed on 8/26. Tiny rooms and bathroom. Fortunately weather was cool enough we did not need to leave the window open and was not bothered by the train and crowd noises; the other reviews were consistent. Room was clean. Location was accessible to public transportation, walkable and far enough from the main drag. Front office was nice during check in but hours later when my husband and his friends (all of them staying in a diff hotel for a guys' weekend) came by to meet us at the lobby, front office approached immediately/accusatorally said room xxx is only for 2 pax when nobody was asking; we knew that. That was a very weird approach as if anyone can even physically fit another full grown body in their very tiny rooms (my daughter and I are petite and find it very tight).

This hotel sits right in front of a police station and bus station so you can imagine the people hanging around outside. At night it is pretty noisy with a rail going by every 15 minutes and people partying at the bar next door. The beds are really hard and there is no AC in the room. We tried sleeping with the window open the first night, but got no sleep because of the noise. They do have fans that they will bring up to your room and that is what we did for the rest of the stay.

Would not recommend it. Super hot rooms that don’t allow you to open the windows all the way. When they are open - both stays were over top of the kitchen in which you get to hear the dishes being washed until 11:30 ish and then early in the morning. Can hear the people above you and the next door rooms. The bed was horrible - I felt like I could Taco at any moment and fold in half.
