The most average alleged 5* hotel ever. Considering the competition in the Dubai, its very disappointing.
No bar. This is a dry hotel, but they are very careful not to advertise this.
No iron, ironboard in room.
No kettle in room, but plenty of tea bags?????
(we had 2 rooms, both the same)
TV in one room didn't work.
Having to recite this from memory as the 5* didn't even have basic stationary, which is available in premier inns and travelodges!
Breakfast utterly chaotic, so much so we didn't bother on day 2 and went to McDs in the adjacent mall. Because of C-19, you have to queue at the buffet and a guy will serve you. Except there's only 1 guy. And each breakfast type (hot, cold, drinks, fruit pastries etc) is done at a different location in the room, so if you want coffee and pastries you have to queue for 10 minutes a time in 2 different places.
The breakfast room has 1 coffee machine, manned by 1 guy, to serve over 100 people. Farcical.
No drinks service at the pool. I asked the pool guy where I could get a bottle of water (40 degrees, every day in this country) and was told I'd have to get one from my room, on the 15th floor.
Much better hotels available for less money if you're coming to Dubai.
