The room was very nice and was such a good price, staff was great very helpful and friendly too. The only thing I didn't like was that there are 2 parking garages and the one closest to it is almost all blocked off.

The staff was accommodating and the hotel is very dog-freindly. The area to take your dog ro poop is too far from the hotel rooms and can result in accidents along the way. The casino and pool are very nice.

Easy location off freeway and free parking. Nice room that was quiet and clean. Fremont Street just steps away for entertainment and food! I just wish I wasn't there for business the pool area looked fabulous!

Downtown Grand is our go to location for weekend staycations. The casino has an uncrowded layout and service at the Furnace bar is always good. Had an excellent meal at Triple George and we like that Pizza Rock is right across the street. The pool area is always nice but I think too much space is dedicated to cabanas that are reservation only(at a cost) and go unused. This causes a lack of seating on weekends. I would suggest opening them up at around 2 PM if they haven’t been reserved by then. A few glitches on this trip: All the bed pillows were stacked on a chair with no pillow cases. This was quickly fixed. The garage elevator was out of service. Normally not a problem but I recently had surgery on my leg and foot. I like gin and tonic but somebody screwed up the soda guns at Furnace bar by hooking up sour mix or lemonade to the tonic line. Yuck. I switched to bourbon and club soda. That solved the problem for me.

I went to check in to my Delux king non smoking room and the front desk said I was being upgraded to a Gallery king Delux non smoking room. I accepted it. The new room was 2 doors from the ice machine and right next to a crew or housekeeping room. The view was now a stairway and a building wall. I was very disappointed with this Upgraded room.

The property was great the only promblem I had is we had a late check out and me and my husband went downstairs to eat breakfast and when came back up they deactivated our room key it was handled immediately but other than that it was ok

This was the most inconvenient hotel I have ever stayed at. They did not have any handicap access. My spouse is blind and we had to walk up and down steps to and from our room with our luggage as well. The elevators did not work. I left something in my room, so we drove in front of the property and I asked the valet attendant could we park there and run up stairs because we left something and he was blind so I didn’t want to leave him, he told me to go across the street and park my car in the garage, even though I stated we just had come from over there and it was full. We definitely won’t stay here again.

This is one of the nicest properties on Fremont Street in the old downtown area. Cleanliness was OK and staff was OK. Everything was reasonable. Price was OK. It’s definitely not a 5 star resort but I’ll be back. For the price and the location it was all OK. The elevator not working in the parking garage was a bit annoying but I understand that they are working to improve the area. I would stay here again as long as the price remains less than most of the hotels on the strip.

Stying downtown was a new experience. We picked this hotel because it is dog friendly. That was the best part. Staff was amazing from bell service to food service and inbetween it was great. And the $2 PBR and hotdog were the best. Room was basic and clean enough and had all basic needs. I was disappointed that our TV did not work and we asked for service and didnt get any. There was also no ice machine on our floor. Another disappointment was parking. The lot was full and the only alternative was paying $20 for valet even though i already pay the "resort fee" to have parking included.

Can walk to Freemont experience, free parking if you are a guest. Dining options are good room was big and nice no refrig or microwave. you can't beat the 2 dollar hot dog and Pabst Blue ribbon beer.

The rooms were pretty beat up and most of the staff wasn't very helpful. The gentleman that came up to fix our air conditioner was nice and helpful. The Freedom Beat restaurant was garbage. It took more than 25 minutes to even get water. Do not recommend

Parking was horrible. Hotel’s parking was far and had to walk there every single day. There were not enough parking spaces as well. They kept blocking a lot of parking spaces for no reason. Service was also bad and no one was friendly during our whole stay

Couples trip and first time staying in dowtown. We loved the area, walking distance to Fremont, restaurants and other DT casinos. Staff and service was amazing. Only two things I can complain about is that our room was not cleaned while we stayed there for two nights and their parking structure across the street needs improvement and the elevator did not work and we had climb flights of stairs to get to our car. Overall we would stay there again.

This was my third time staying at this hotel. This time we stayed at the newly renovated gallery towers which were very nice. The casino has all you need for a quick trip to Las Vegas. The 1$ blackjack table is one of the main reasons we choose to stay here. It’s conveniently located, very close to Fremont Street. The pool doesn’t get too crowded, but the pool experience could improve with extended hours and better entertainment.

Initially my room had some technical difficulties. Staff attempted to have maintenance out to perform the repairs, maintenance claimed the repairs were done. Even added a few i did not put in a request for and the problem was not fixed. I got switched to another room and the AC was broken. Once again maintenance came up and clilaimed to have fixed the problem. Problem was not fixed. Fortunately throughout the entire ordeal Samatha was kind, understanding and stayed on top of the issues. Samantha got me in a room that i could be comfortable in. If it wasnt for Samantha i would have lost my cool. Thanks to her the rest of my 5 day stay went smoothly. Its a nice hotel. It was a nice experience. I dont understand why maintenance kept dropping the ball. Thank you Samatha for going above and beyond.

The lighting on the bathroom was terrible. Shower was ok. They did provide a makeup mirror but there is no shelf or ledge to put it on and who wants to bend over to put on makeup? Also, water pressure wasn’t ideal. Everything else was good. Restaurant options and location were perfect.. Evan at the front desk gave us a different room so we could have a coffee maker and a fridge, that was very nice.

It was a good value. My room was clean. I was there three days and they didn't once clean floors by elevators out empty the trash. It's was completely full and the floor outside had coffee spilled out sometime that was there everyday. I was also surprised that it did not have a coffee pot, refrigerator or a micro wave

The table game, specifically blackjack want open most of the time. Even when we had a nearly full table they shut it down and didn't have any other open tables. But 4 queens and others were very close.
