Always our favorite in Bali.Has the best stretch of beach, the best views, the best swimming pools and plenty of amenities. The staff are always very hospitable and helpful and the area is hassle free and just a great place to relax. My daughter loves the place.

Always a pleasure going back to this hotel. It is getting a bit worn with age but everything still works in the room, the breakfast is varied and interesting, and the pools are fantastic. The staff couldn’t be more pleasant and helpful.

Beatiful hotel with a historical significance, but the hotel is very dated and needs an uplift. The hotel has great facilities and great staff and as a family of 4 (2 Adults 2 Teen) we have used most of the facilities and we did enjoy our 4 day stay. It is fairly priced and food Was great but portions are on the smaller side. Close to all the beach restorants and clubs on one side, the Main Street in Sanur, and on the other side within walking distance to the boating harbour starting point to all the islands and many water sports. I loved the view of the pool from our 8th floor balcony and of the islands and the volcano in the distance and would stay again.

Very good staff. Value for money. First room bathroom was in bad shape and the one were given when we asked was only slightly better. 21.5% surcharge on everything is to high! Menu were very basic making it better to go out to eat.

Beautiful resort if you want time to unwind, if youre looking for more of a party area this wouldnt be the place. Lots of nice restaurants in the area. Hotel.food not so great

Needs renovations badly.
Inna Grand Bali hotel is more then 50 years old and it shows. I think that the hotel was never renovated. Dirty carpet in hallways. Black mold around the bathtub. We had two cockroaches in the room. The swimming pool looks good but don't look closely. There is back green algae growing on the walls inside of the pool. It was not clean probably for years. Breakfast was ok and the staff was very friendly.

We left our passports in the safe which was cleaned out at 12 pm we got to airport at 7pm only to realise we didnt have them no one from hotel contacted us to let us know when we got back to hotel passports were in dodgy location away from reception a lobby they were in room away from hotel very suspicious not happy at all

The hotel has a great pool. All the rooms overlook the sea. This was the first luxury hotel in Bali So is of coarse a bit dated but it is also vintage With wonderfully spacious grounds. When there are special events from time to time the music can be very loud

They have a great pool. The rooms look over the ocean. But they tend to have events on the beach or in the courtyard with live rock music from time to time. So incredibly bad.
This hotel is astonishingly bad by any standard. My room was wet, not damp, wet. The slippers provided were wet on the bottom after walking around the room for only a few minutes. Paper left out on a table would start to get mushy. The air conditioner didn't. The door to the balcony didn't open. The bathroom, ugh, there was a ring of mold around the bathtub drain and a layer of calcium around the showerhead that limited the flow of water to the point where I would have been better of bathing in the sink. I would like to think my experience was isolated, but during the week the quality (and lack thereof) of the rooms was a hot topic of conversation at our conference . Everyone seemed to have some issue from bad electrics to eternally flushing toilets The staff were quite nice in moving my reservation to the Inna Beach Garden hotel next door, which was excellent! The grounds were lovely.

Like an old friend who hasn’t aged well.
We stayed in this hotel a number of times 25 to 35 years ago. We love the area but the hotel has aged and not gracefully. The service and breakfast were good. The room was in bad shape. 4 stars 25 years ago, today it’s a stretch to three.

Amazing staff, my third stay this year. My comments are in the context of value for money. I understand this landmark hotel is headed for a complete refurbishment which is undoubtedly overdue. As it is it offers outstanding value for money. Great position!

This is grand old hotel, and as such, it is so charming, beautiful landscaped gardens, always being maintained and cleaned. Service was great, very friendly staff. The hotel is gorgeous but dated., A little more attention to detail in bathrooms would be great, they are really old with cracked sinks, mouldy edges and very mouldy shower curtain. The carpets are never vacuumed, so dusty!! Wonderful stay if you can overlook all that.

This is a good resort. The only negative is that the rooms need upgrades. I was not even able to get a power outlet to use for my phone. I had to unplug a lamp to use the plug. Even to use the kettle there was no plug available, had to use the floor plug to boil water. The pool was good, the beach was unswimable because of stones. Breakfast was good. We did enjoy the stay.

Hotel location good if you are using boat transfers to Nusa Lembongan etc ( not Rocky though) as you are able to walk. Otherwise it’s a bit remote to restaurants in main town if you want to walk. Hotel overall bit run down, not enough pool chairs , slow check in as only one staff. Prefer other hotels.

The Hotel Front Desk
The hotel room is kind of old and classic. The area that I don't like to interact the most is the hotel lobby's front desk. They are humans but they act like a computer. They don't maximize the guest's comfort. I had an experience of booking 1 room but I accidentally booked 2 rooms so I requested to have an upgrade instead of a refund. But they insistently gave me 2 connecting rooms.

Tower gave nice view. But very dated. Was told old part of hotel. Front desk staff not very nice except for girl with glasses. Right on beach with boardwalk. I would not stay in tower again. Very depressing

Location was superb. The ocean views, beautiful pool so close to the beach was just amazing. Senur is a lovely quiet destination for the perfect relaxing holiday 💜

A once grand hotel, now decaying before our eyes.
This hotel is planning a major renovation/rebuild. At the moment it looks like a hotel which is just waiting to die, despite the efforts of the excellent staff. Once it is brought up to 2020 standards, it will be an excellent place to stay again.

The hotel is very tired, our bathroom is old the drains do not work and is full of mould.The shower is in the bathtub and you stand with water around 400mm deep as the drainage is too old ( we did have cleaned but only good for one day), and the sink drain plug doesn’t close. One of the main reason you go on holidays is to sit by the pool and swim. The swimming pool is full of algea black / green at least 10 mm thick (i kid you not) in lots of places around the steps and around the walls. I have a pool and In Australia these pools would be closed un fit for swimming due too a health hazard. The out side of the building is very dirty, the bicycles are old and unroadworthy. Expedia please look at this hotel as I recommend you remove from your website as this is a health hazard. I have booked many hotels thu Expedia relying on your recommendation but I am the opinion that you do not actually visit or inspect hotels you recommend. I believe you ( Expedia) have not done your duty of care to inform and to recommend a save and healthy environment to your customer

I liked the fact that no matter what time you came to the pools areas- there were always lounges available. I liked the lap and the other pools. Room was spacious and clean. Hotel in general needs massive upgrade in all areas. Building run down. Also the buffet breakfast could have more verity and menu could change more often.

We have stayed here previously, whilst the property needs updating the rooms are well kept and clean. The biggest disappointment was that the staff didn’t seem to care or have an interest in the guests - very disappointed.

The property is very old and run down. The staff tries it's best but there is not much they can do about the general state of the building. The location is excellent, we stayed in the tower and had wonderful sea views from our balcony. There is no furniture on the balcony which is a shame. Depending on price I would stay here again as the beds were comfortable and the staff friendly.

Huge property with three separate sections. Numerous swimming pools. Lovely staff. The condition of this property is reflected in its low rates.I would have no hesitation in staying there again . Great buffet breakfast & very close to fantastic warungs along the beach BUT, it’s use by date is well passed. It’s government owned & why they don’t put the serious money into what has to be the best positioned resort in Sanur beach is beyond me.

We had a wonderful relaxing holiday. Ocean views from room, wonderful meals. Air conditioning didnt work well, given a fan by staff which was great.
