I frequently travel to Delhi. This has become my favorite property. It is close to great restaurants in connought place, close to metro to the airport, close to railway station, not very far from the airport, and above all the staff is very pleasant and friendly. Mr. Pankaj, the manager, is exemplary with smiling service and top notch efficiency. 5 stars from me.

Staff were very helpful and polite. Breakfast was great. The hotel did not permit for any drinks or food to be consumed next to the pool and in fact whilst the pool was right next to the restaurant there was no direct access. You had go back to the lift, go to the lower ground floor, go through the spa and then out just to get 5 metres away from where you started. The pavement outside the hotel was in a terribly poor state and made the place feel unsafe.

When we booked our stay through Expedia, it clearly stated that breakfast was included in our reservation. However, upon arrival, we were informed that breakfast was not included and that it would be an additional 1800 RS/- per person. This was disappointing and misleading, as we had specifically chosen this hotel based on the advertised inclusion of breakfast. It is essential for the hotel to ensure that the information provided on booking platforms align with the services they offer to avoid such discrepancies. Overall, while our stay at the Metropolitan Hotel & Spa was satisfactory in terms of accommodation, the misleading information left a source taste in our mouths. We hope the hotel addresses this issue to prevent similar experiences for future guests.

Location is great. Near the Sikh temple and Connaught place so good for exploring that area. Staff were friendly apart from the ones outside including the security who were encouraging us to get a hotel taxi and not a tuktuk. We got tuktuk from outside with no issues. The room wasn’t the cleanest. It was basic. Facilities including the gym are basic too. Not five star as advertised but it was the cheapest in the area and ok for an overnight stay.

We chose this hotel because of its proximity to CP and shopping. We liked the property overall. We felt there was bias based on your background and almost felt the need to tip for everything. And one time we offered the tip and it was refused probably due to it wasn’t enough on staff’s expectations which felt a bit awkward. Other than that zing restaurant’s staff was great and we loved the breakfast options and taste of the food. Kudos to the chefs.

The area outside the hotel was not the greatest neighborhood but then Connaught Place is much touted and for me was a letdown. There was nothing really special about it. The hotel’s staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Their food was great and the breakfast bountiful with a wide variety. I felt the place was a tad rundown, the lobby dark and wasn’t too sure about the carpeting in the room. Nonetheless, it was conveniently located to everything which was just an Uber ride away.

The pollution in Delhi was so bad I couldn’t stay. Got to the hotel and it was almost like smoke being pumped through the aircon. Booked the next flight out and checked out after 7 hours.
