The bar was noisy but the music ended at 10:00 and it was quiet thereafter. Very friendly welcoming staff. Use of the common kitchen area is very handy as is the laundry facilities although we did not use the latter. The meal inthe bar was very good.

The room was great.. clean and very comfy.. I had trouble with the tv not working or not working properly when I did get it to go.. bed was great.. great for a pub hotel.. if you don't like noise then I don't recommend staying as it a pub..

This is an older but well maintained hotel in the very heart of downtown Darwin with its own pub and restaurant. Really good value for the money and quite comfortable.

I stay Thursday and Sunday,Thursday’s room is very quiet, but Sunday one is terrible,all night can’t sleep, construct site next hotel working all night, the noise is so loud, work truck beeping every now and then, it’s now way to sleep.

We were very disappointed to find that our room, passages and communal areas were very grubby. The furniture, toilet and ensuite need replacing. The shower water laid deep in the base because of slow draining. The short shower curtain left the floor wet. The only window in the room was beyond reach and high above the bed. The kettle needed to utilise an old power board used by the fridge. The bedding and bed was clean and comfortable. The location was convenient.

Room was very "tired", no windows, dark, depressing, bathroom shower had no pressure. Bed was comfortable though. Saving grace was the restaurant had the best steak I have had in 30 Years.

Super handy location (incredibly close to everything you need in the heart of Darwin) however, the property is a pub so there is a lot of noise & action … if you’re not ok with this then perhaps look elsewhere. I think the room was quite expensive for a night at a pub.

While the attached pub was a little rowdy, the live music was always excellent and it wasn't noisy until late. And the food was very good. The accommodation is fairly basic, but has all you need. It is well-positioned and walkable to shops, dining options, and so on. And the staff were all fantastic to deal with. You probably can't beat it for the price.

I paid a lot for this room to discover that the venue is also a bar that has very loud live music until 10pm (Tues - Thurs). It was so loud I could hardly hear the TV in my room. I asked that it be turned down and it was but I don't want to pay a high price to be bombarded by pub music when I want to go to sleep. Never again.
