The view was great very big apartment. Bt the phone number they gave us for any problems was not connected The desk person said it hasn't been connected for 5 years the key didn't work in elevator my daughter was locked out at 230am and they said they couldn't do anything about it the internet didn't work they couldn't help again

There is no reception area at the address, the telephone number on the booking was ‘not available’ so we had to disturb locals to establish that the check in area is in another building on another street. At reception we were told that we could not have the three bedroom unit with views that we had booked in One30 Esplanade as it had a leak. We were given two rooms in this completely different building around the corner with the result that some family members had to share a bed which was not ideal. We did not have the view either. At breakfast time we took note of the warnings about using the toaster and risk of setting off the fire alarms. However, there was no toaster in either room. Reception advised they had all been removed due to too many alarms. They suggested we toast using the grill, but there was no grill pan. Reception staff were generally unhelpful and impolite. Will definitely not stay here again.

The units are spacious. The location is good, waking distance to most things, including water front restaurants and right next door to Aquascene. Nil noise heard from other units.

The apartment was large and mostly well looked after. The check-in process was a disaster though, and it lacked basic amenities that I expect from a serviced apartment. Some maintenance was also overdue to replace light globes and other minor items.

Our apartments are stocked with basic amenities and if you require more then you just need to call reception to get some more brought up. I will make sure to get our maintenance team to check light globes so this will not be an issue for other guests. We do hope that you come back on your next Darwin visit.

It was clean and a lovely place but i paid cash and had to leave a $100 deposit and still have not received my deposit back and it been 2weeks

That is just a hold on your credit card that is simply released on check out if the apartment is fine. This takes between 5-7 working days for it to be released depending on your bank. Ocean view was good but the apartment was not as clean as would be expected and smelled very badly in the hallway and bedrooms around the laundry and toilet . Ran out of towels and toilet paper for 2 days and there was no information regarding the hot water system for the shower so we had cold showers for 2 days as well. When asking management to come help, they informed us they would on the next day which they did not as we called back again and they said no one would be working until after the weekend.

The hotel was good at first but going around the house, we saw a lot of dead insects such as flies, bugs and others. There was no lock on some doors give us less privacy and the light was not adjustable it was all dim we wanted to eat were we can see but the light was dim. When needed to drop off the keys, the receptionist told me “why dont you drop it a C2?” And he gave me a dagger as if I am giving him a hardtime. The reception is too far from the actual hotel which made it harder for us to get and drop off the keys. Other than that it was all good need more improvement with customer service.

My first ever review so will keep quick an simple. Had a little family getaway from home. Loved the Apartment. Stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment with magnificent views over the Esplanade an Darwin Harbour. Apartment has everything you'll need an is close to the main entertainment an restaurants hub in the city. Generously sized apartment with one of Darwin’s best views of the sunset and Esplanade. Apartment was very modern looking and clean. Only downsides were that the kitchen wasn’t as well set up as we were expecting: some missing crockery and utensils were the biggest pain, although the host was very accommodating. We were travelling as a young family and it was quite an ideal location for us, with the Esplanade greenery and playground right opposite. The non-lap pool was shaded most of the day, which was nice if not a little chilly. Overall our stay was great and we would go back again!

H Apartments
We didn't get to stay at 130 The Esplanade due to A/C problems. We were put into the apartments behind this block ensuring us we would have an ocean view. We did. Originally we were in a three bedroom apartment as there were three of us having a reunion. We were given three individual apartments that meant we weren't together and had to keep knocking on doors and locking ourselves out to get together. The H Apartments were lovely and so was the pool but, the rooms smelt musty and of mould. The three of us have returned home and all have horrid coughs and colds which we think is from the mould. I have had the cough for three weeks now. I feel that the units need to be cleaned thoroughly and aired and something done about the musty smell.

It was the peak of the season and we paid for our room 3 months ago They called us 2 days before we arrived on holiday and moved us to another hotel. We had booked a 3 bedroom appartment and they moved us into 3 single room so we could not be with family and the staff didn’t care

Loved Darwin and the apartment was amazing!!
Loved Darwin and all the sights and loved staying at One30 Esplanade!! Had a slight problem with after hours parking in the underground car park but this was only due to a faulty remote. Would definitely return to Darwin and One30 Esplanade again!!

The apartment was nice with a beautiful view (although very dusty and crumbs all over the couches) but the service was absolutely horrible, the hotel manager was so rude and disrespectful after a phone call I had with him that I if I could have cancelled my booking I would have and when checking in at 5pm I still had to wait 25 mins for my keys to be ready in 35 degrees heat even though check in time was 2pm!

One30 Esplanade is located very conveniently in walking distance from central Darwin, buy yet quiet. The sea-view was absolutely stunning. The serviced apartment offered plenty of space and came equipped with everything we needed during our stay. For those who prefer space to a hotel room, and private parking in the basement garage, look no further. We look forward to be back.

The apartment was gorgeous, comfortable and clean and I would happily stay there again. It was really spacious and had everything we needed. The views were great too. The only issues were not enough forks for a family of 5, smoke alarms were in a drawer!!, customer service at check-in wasn't great and there were no batteries in one remote. Apart from the smoke alarms they are all very minor issues. I would recommend checking the booking confirmation when emailed because I booked a 3 bed apartment for 5 people and my confirmation made no mention of room type, and had us listed as having one person only.

3 bedroom harbour view apartment
Very nice apartment with plenty of space and very neat and tidy. We booked a 3 bedroom apartment harbour view with 1 king and 2 queen beds rather than a lower level esplanade apartment . What we got was a 3rd floor apartment in a 16 floor tower that offered a great view of the tops of trees with a sneak peak of the harbour. Not really what we thought we had paid for however this was still a very pleasant outlook. Obviously a lower level esplanade apartment refers to levels 1 & 2 out of 16. We also only got 1 room with a queen bed and another with 2 singles which left one daughter a little disappointed as they were both looking forward to their own room with queen size bed. Plenty of room to park the car in the basement but the roller door to the car park did not respond to the remote we were provided so any after hours entry, or exit, required us to manually raise the door with the chain which was a laborious task and required parking the car outside before entering the car park via the lift to raise the door when coming home in the evening. We reported this immediately on the day we got the car, the next day and the following day but it was still not rectified by the time we had to leave. Pluses, excellent apartment for a family. Only a short walk to shops and restaurants. Pools were good, very quiet most of the time. Downside, the reception on the weekend at H105 were courteous and friendly but provided us only blank looks and apologies when pointing out access issues.

What a mess!!!
Booked 2 months in advance, checked 1 week before arriving and told everything in order. Checked again 1 day out to advise arrival time, again told all good. Day of arriving they called and moved us to another property. Went there, rooms not ready! Key tags didn’t work on entry and lift. Then they wanted to move half our party to an inferior room which was filthy. No staff on site , no one would answer our calls, left us in disarray for 6 hours. We then decided squatting in our rooms was the only way to get what we paid for. Pool terrible, service really poor. Don’t stay here. If you want a relaxing time.

One30 was awesome. However TV remotes were lacking. No one came to check out the situation after I rang requesting assistance. Otherwise was just a great unit.

Absolutely fantastic.
These apartments are so SPACIOUS and comfortable! Perfect views of the ocean and the esplanade with floor to ceiling windows. Everything within walking distance. I thoroughly recommend staying at the One30 apartments whether for a couples retreat, work or family vacay.

Huge with great views
Delighted about being upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment, our 11th floor harbour view apartment was huge with excellent amenities and had a real wow factor. Check in was easy at the Mitchell Street Sister apartments. Two car spaces. A wine fridge! An inbuilt coffee machine. Comfortable beds. Large balcony with expansive views. Large ensuite. Good wifi. Two pools. Great gym. Darwin was very quiet the first week of January and apartment in quiet end of the Esplanade. Would definitely recommend.
