I was originally placed in room 264, which was a lovely room, with a beautiful view, and I liked being able to see my car from the parking lot.
But at midnight I was woken up by a person above me. It literally sounded like a kid was running up and down the hallway or in the room above me. I could not sleep ALL NIGHT! I literally had to call the front desk and ask them twice to please contact the people above me to stop running.
I am a nurse, and in Dallas to work four 12-hour shifts. I need my rest to be able to do a good job in healthcare! Im not the person to complain because thats all i ever hear at work.
I notified the gentleman at the front desk, to which he let it be known that those people above me practically live there and there have been MANY complaints every time someone stays in room 264 because of the people on the 3rd floor.
Needless to say, I think it's pretty obvious that room should be blocked off.
As soon as I came back to the hotel from working, I requested a room transfer, which was EXTREMELY inconvienent! I am already drained, and would just like to relax, but instead i have to pack and move everything to the 3rd floor. The whole time I was packing my things, the person upstairs was already starting...running and stomping around non-stop. I could not get out of that room fast enough!
I really wish the manager wouldve responded to my email with my complaint.
