The staff was very accommodating. The rooms were clean and well done. Breakfast foods were abundant and varied. The lobby was comfortable and lovely. Comfortable beds. I was at a party in the large room in the lobby area. All of that was great! Only recommendation: The people cleaning the rooms during the day were yelling to each other. They need to know that there may be patrons who are resting or napping even during the day! Other than that I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel.

Unfortunately, booking through 3rd parties are not very transparent on regulations and information for the hotel. In future make sure to call property or at very least check the properties website for important information such as that.

For the area, this is the nicest hotel in the price range compared to other hotels nearby. I travel 4 days a month for work and have stayed at several properties in the area. Definitely would recommend it for the weekday warriors out there.

Ignore all the scammers with their reviews that don't make sense. Talking about rude staff. From the moment we walked in we were impressed. This is a top notch hilton with an affordable price. They just do everything better. Even the ice machine was wotking on the 9th floor! Which is a perk when other hotels dont even have one working ice machine.. Booked through expedia who are scammers thats why not 5 stars. But viva la double tree was excelente!

A/C barely worked, as stated in a lot of other reviews if you take the time to check a few out. The room itself was nice, however running the A/C set to 60 for 12 straight hours and it feeling 72-73 is not great. Couldn’t sleep with covers and I can’t imagine what it would be like in the summer. The filter obviously hadn’t been changed in months, with nearly 1/2” thick dust caked to it. Facility seemed nice from what I could tell (I was there for work therefore didn’t spend a lot of time to check everything out) and staff were polite what little I talked to them.

The property is older but seems pretty clean. The room we were given was on the third floor on the even number side of the hall. Apparently, all of these rooms on the lower floors have windows that overlook the large, dark lobby. These are the only windows in the room. So if you don't want a cave-like experience then be sure you get a room on the other side of the hall or on a much higher floor. We were only staying overnight and leaving early in the AM so I didnt bother to request a change but that would have been a deal breaker had we been staying longer.

Bedding on both beds were nasty. Hotel offered new bedding and new room but no guarantee that it would be clean. Towels were dirty. Walls were dirty. Chairs stained. Bathroom had hair every where. Staff was not nice or very accommodating

We reserved 2 rooms, both were clean, one room the A-C worked well, the other not as well, but was still acceptable. This hotel, while not really walkable except to Potbelly's (which is really good), is a great location for driving to various restaurants, attractions, etc. Lots of restaurants across the street (jump in your car and hop over; traffic is pretty busy, so if you're not a runner or sprinter, you might feel like a game of Frogger if you choose to walk!); breakfast is available in the hotel, although we didn't eat there. There's lots of seating to sit around downstairs, a little convenience snacks stop, and a bar in the middle of it all. Final thoughts: property is a solid kind-of no-frills 3 star (you do get a cookie when you check in), quiet on higher floors, convenient, and an acceptable sleep.

This is my second time staying at the property. Both times, the room was set to around 65, and felt like it was 75. I called for the AC to be checked, the guy came in. Looked around did something by the door and said “ you’re good” and left. I end up going tot target for a fan. The refridge didn’t get “cold” as the other room either. I guess it’s a hit or miss with them. I won’t be booking another stay. The AC is where I draw the line.

We liked that the room was clean, staff was friendly and of course those delicious cookies. The only thing that would have been nicer is that there was a large gap at the bottom of the door to the room and you could hear the people in the hallway loud and clear.

I had been staying at this property several times a year at least one whole week at a time since 2006. It was a good comfortable property with good services in the past. During the last a few years it had cut services from providing even a bottle of water. It is an old building even the heating doesn’t work. It does not meet Hilton standards.
