"Great place to stay in Old Havana if you want a reasonable priced 4 star Hotel/Casa. I got upgraded to the Master Suite which had a balcony and great view of the local area (a little underdeveloped but the views and noises and people are so full on, it makes it wonderful to see and hear). Note, there are a LOT of stairs and the Master Suite was on the 2nd floor, so unless youre SUPER FIT, take a moment to breathe as you go up each landing. We had a small mishap whereby the Receptionist had fallen asleep and so we had to wait 30 minutes for her to wake up and open the front door at 2pm in the morning, but she sent us personal apologetic messages the next morning. I would definitely stay again!"

"A great property. Feels like living in at pre 1959 Havana residence because of all the museum pieces displayed. But the property was well updated. Great staff, always ready to help (Thanks Clara). The pool was perfect so were the breakfasts. You feel like being at the top of Havana since this property is on top of a high hill. A bit away from the center of the town but is a mere 10US taxi ride from most sights. Only little concern. One resident was constantly smoking a cigar even during breakfast. I know Cuba is known for its cigar production but a little courtesy would have been appreciated. Overall a great experience that I can warmly recommend"

"We absolutely loved our time at Residencia Santa Clara!! It was gorgeous, pristine, so comfortable, and in a great part of town. We loved the air conditioning and starfruit welcome drink after a hot day of travel and everyone was incredibly welcoming. The mojitos were the best we had in Cuba (fresh limes!), and we loved our chats with Serguey. Yuli was absolutely amazing and helped us feel at home; she also helped find a last minute taxi. The food and coffee! So delicious. We had amazing internet the whole time but luckily didn’t really need it because we were soaking up every second in Havana. The room was so comfortable; no noise, great view, excellent water pressure. The rooftop deck was incredible! We honestly could’ve stayed a week inside the hotel and been happy, it’s that wonderful. Worth every penny. Thank you for your hospitality and for giving us such an amazing experience! We’ll be back! "
