Good value
Great location. Spacious. Nice kitchen. Had water jug for drinking which they asked that you boil water and keep it full. We couldn't get the washer to spin dry. There was no dryer, but had a clothes line in back. Place could have been a little cleaner.

Good for short stays
We stayed only one night. Whilst this had a good location close to water the main entry door was hard to open and close. We had requested 2 x queen beds at time of booking and a followup email however there were no sheets or pillowcases on the 2nd queen bed. Lucky for plenty of blankets. Good heating. Wi-Fi was new and wouldn't initially connect but came through in the end. Good for short stays.

Clean, Plain and Expensive
The place was very clean and the beds comfortable. However, the price for prime time, was high considering it is a tired, basic place that has not been updated, especially after coming from a 4 star hotel on water front Hobart, that was way cheaper.. Only minimal amenities were provided, such as washing powder, 1 chux and sink detergent, 1 small square of soap, 1 towel per guest and no complimentary shampoo or lotions. There were lists everywhere regarding what could and couldn't be done in the house! I mean I have seen fewer rules in a school classroom! I understand the need for being water efficient with tanks being the only water source and happily respected that. I am a respectful person and indeed ensured that place was left even cleaner than when I arrived.I cleaned the stove and oven even though we really didn't use that. Computer access in the house good when we connected. The rental staff managing the property were great and very helpful. Over all a pleasant if super expensive stay as the house was convenient to the Freycinet Park exploration.
