Absolutely love the Osprey! It's our favorite place to stay anytime we visit Grand Turk. The staff are so helpful and nice and the rooms overlook the beach. You can't beat having th sounds of waves lull you to sleep at night.

Gret view and beach but need to clean up old beer cans in sand on beach access area. Also need more staff for lunchtime. I waited half an hour for service and then waited at the cash register to get service and put in my order. Nice guy waiting on tables there but way too much on him

Eating right next to ocean was truly magical. The food was amazing & the barbecue night was really welcomed with fresh fish & lobster. My room was extremely comfortable & you couldn't beat the view! Listening to the waves crash was calming as I drifted off to sleep. Plenty of beach chairs & space to lounge. Would definitely highly recommend it to anyone visiting Grand Turk!

RELAXING ATMOSPHERE. The island is very quiet. I did not leave the resort, I was there for quite and sun only. There were adventures available on the island. This would be a great place to stay if you we're just all about diving as there were two diving companies right across the street.Great food at resort, full bar and pool. Ocean water was incredible. Owners were on property and very friendly. Rooms were clean and fresh. Highly recommended.

The room has roaches, the towels were dirty, the tv doesn't work, the phone doesn't work, we requested and upper floor but received a ground floor, the room smelt bad (it gave my niece a sore throat.)

Beautiful oceanfront with a nice beach and views. Good restaurant. The bed is very comfortable, the refrigerator is nice as is the shower. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. The property is old and in need of a little tlc, the ac was so loud we had to turn it off at night, unbearable!!! I missed having an outdoor shower or even just a faucet to wash your feet.

The property itself was great. We were right on the beach, it's a few blocks from the few available restaurants on the island, as well as the dive shops. One thing this place really needs, though, are amenities, especially water-related activities from which they could be making bank. There are no rentals or water excursions available. Also, if you're expecting anything remotely close to what any reasonable person would call "customer service", prepare for extreme disappointment. The customer service is almost non-existent. I will say that at the Osprey there was one woman at the front desk who was absolutely amazing and helped me beyond measure with several different issues. But other than her, the staff works at a snail's pace. This wasn't just at the Osprey, but everywhere we went on Grand Turk (as well as on Providenciales). They chalk it up to "This is just island life", but that doesn't cut it. We've been to plenty of islands where they understand that good customer service equates more tourism. In the Turks, it's just downright laziness. And there is definitely a resentment in the air while you're being "served" (dare I degrade the word). We asked other travelers if we were just paranoid, but they wholeheartedly agreed and said they felt the same tension from the locals. The whole island has that creepy feel like they're just one cultural misunderstanding away from grabbing the machetes and heading down to the resorts to hack up the Westerners.

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The property is beautiful and located on a quiet, pristine beach. No need to pack a bag for the day - you can just run back and forth from the room or sit on the comfy chairs on your private shaded deck during the hottest part of the day. The food and service is top notch! My stay was shortened from 3 to 1 day due to travel issues but the staff accommodated my schedule change and Jenny even provided me with a last minute ride to the airport!!

Great view of the beach & sea
Great location on the beach & friendly staff. For the facilities it was more than I would have liked to pay. Basic room with old noisy AC. Did have a great view of the beach and ocean. The food at the restaurant was good and reasonably priced (for the T&C islands).

We couldn't of been happier at Osprey Beach Hotel! The property is right on the water, there is a lovely restaurant on the property and the staff was friendly! I would recommend renting a golf cart for your entire stay, this tiny island has lots of areas to explore!

Charming hotel right on the beach with a veranda facing west to watch the amazing sunsets. Dinner at the outside restaurant was great and the staff very pleasant and helpful.

We had a nice time at Osprey Beach. Unfortunately, COVID restrictions were put in place the night before we arrived, so we could only eat at the hotel (which has good food!), and this meant that the pool was closed except for 3-5pm. The view from the room was amazing (perfect sunsets), and the lovely beach was right in front of us. There isn't much to see when snorkeling close to shore (visibility was low due to high winds not super robust reefs right by the shore), but floating about in the water by the hotel was nice. The room was also very comfortable for the 2 of us.

I like how close it was to the ocean and the bed was nice!I disliked how the internet was poor,the tiolet made a loud noise everytime it flushed and the air condition made a superhard noise none like i've ever heard before.

Thank you for your input, we appreciate your review and apologize for the issues you experienced. We realize they are true and have addressed them. We were experiencing problems with our internet and have received extra I.T help and upgraded our equipment. The gurgling water is unusual, and was caused by low pressure from the government station, it soon returned to normal. An air conditioner can go down at the most inconvenient time but once reported to the Front Desk they will quickly change either the unit or your room depending on the time the unit goes down. Sincere apologies.

Not located on island with international airport
The hotel is not located on providenciales, Turks and Caicos where the international airport is located. It is located on a smaller island called Grand Turk which is about 75 miles away and only accessible by cruise ship or propeller airplane. The issue is when you search for hotels in Turks and Caicos online this hotel fails to provide a disclaimer to put the traveler on notice that this hotel is not located on the same island as the international airport. We had no clue until we arrived at the Providenciales airport and had no place to stay!

Do you know what time you will be arriving on Grand Turk? If you have not yet booked your inter-island flights from the international airport on Providenciales (PLS) to Grand Turk Island (GDT), then for your information there are currently two airlines offering multiple daily transfers between the islands: Caicos Express (http://caicosexpress.com/) and InterCaribbean (http://www.intercaribbean.com/). Our guests tend to choose whichever airline’s schedule fits best with their international arrival and departure times, and I would recommend at least one hour and thirty minutes between arriving on Providenciales and your departure for Grand Turk. This will allow enough time to clear Immigration and Customs, and check-in the required sixty minutes prior to your inter-island flight’s departure time. Once on Grand Turk you will need to take a taxi to the hotel, which costs roughly $7 per person, one-way. There are usually taxis the frequent the airport, but if one is not available for you, someone at the airport will be happy to make a call on your behalf. Grand Turk is a very friendly island! Please note: The Osprey Beach Hotel lost television service during the passing of two major hurricanes in September 2017. This service has NOT been reinstated in the hotel to date. The Birdcage bar and restaurant was very quaint and rustic. The oceanfront/poolside setting was stunning. Staff in the food and beverage service was stellar. The room, however, was a disappointment. Our oceanfront view was obscured by a huge fig tree. Hot water in the shower lasted about three minutes. The phone would not even allow me to call the front desk, much less the airport.

This property sits right on the beach. The rooms all overlook the ocean and you can always hear the waves as they come to the shore. The staff is supper friendly and low key. I will be back!!!!!!

Loved the view from our room. The staff in the office were extremely helpful. The restaurant staff was a bit slow. Food was ok. Conch fritters were cold and mushy. If possible, lease add creamer to the room for those who don't drink black coffee.

All the staff had contact with were friendly, well trained and eager to help. The hotel is on.one of the most beautul beaches anywhere in the islands. Privacy was.also great as was the food.

What I think is the best of the property is the location. It has a paradise view, from the pool and dining section and the room I stayed in. It is very tranquil and peaceful. The food is good, judging from a breakfast and a dinner ocassion. The room is spatious, the furniture is not modern, is according ro this Caribbean-colonial style mostly. But the view is soul food!
