1 night stay big comfy bed . The room takes a while to heat up on entry but after an hour or so it’s fine. Centrally located for bars and shops . Free parking at the door.

Misleading about restaurant and bar
Disappointing to find out that the hotel has no bar and the attached restaurant is owned separately. Also tried to go for a meal after 19.00 on Monday to be told that service stopped at 19.00. The hotel detail is misleading. The reception and housekeeping staff were great, friendly and helpful. The room itself was comfortable and clean. The room was serviced every day of our stay even with clean towels though we hung them up to reuse.

I have stayed at this hotel multiple times and I really can't speak more highly of the staff and the hotel in general. I was staying there as I was working away from home in that area and I was unfortunate to have a fall at work and break my foot and the hotel staff were completely amazing and couldn't do enough for me i really can't thank them enough. I would recommend the place to anyone it really is a brilliant place to stay and I have never met nicer more dedicated staff anywhere i have stayed and I have stayed in lots of hotels

Happiest Receptionist Ever
Great little hotel to base yourself in . Unground car park was a little difficult to find but eventually got there . The receptionist couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly we could tell she was passionate about her job . Rooms were clean with no issues .

The shower was far to high and couldnt be moved down, otherwise it was lovely and clean in lovely surroundings,a 5min walk takes you to a shopping centre and a 2 min walk takes you to local shops. Ps always reserve restaurant its always booked out and residents dont get any favours for a table,we asked twice for a reservation and it was fully booked i was raging cos the food looked and smelled delicious.

I think this property would have been rated higher if the elevator had worked. It had been down for nearly a week and my room was on the top floor. My luggage was pretty heavy so carrying all my belongings up/down four flights of stairs was quite grueling.

Great stay
Nice comfy room and well located to Commute into Edinburgh. Staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was delicious and good value too.

100% would stay again
The receptionist was lovely great welcome and supper helpful. I asked if the room had an iron and she arrived in seconds. Spotless clean with great amenities Kettle, Coffee machine and biscuits. Restaurant on site a great chines takeaway over the road plenty of places to eat and drink. Some city noise but nothing to bad I would 100% stay here again and free parking.

Mondo Hotel was in a great location, close to shops and restaurants and we ate frequently at the Mondo restaurant for breakfast and dinner. The staff were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The room was clean and spacious and the wifi was great as we came from Australia.

Overnight stay at Mondo
Another pleasant stay at the Mondo hotel. The 'Tassimo' coffee machine and selection of pods in my room was a nice touch. The blackout curtains were certainly blacking out the light which was very nice. Some light road noise from the main road outside, but nothing too significant.
