An excellent, specious townhouse home that with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. with tv and elliptical in house.The rooms will be with two queen beds with comforters and pillow. House is very good for people traveling for Abbott, AbbVie, Walgreens, Baxter etc.. Good location and about 45 mins away from Chicago downtown. Easy to access highway
within 10 mins drive.
-Gurnee shopping mall is about 10 mins drive.

Worst short term rental yet
I've rented 26 homes in three years since I started using short term rentals. This is the worst I've ever had. Starting with check-in. NOT mentioned in the ad is the fact that you have to download a separate app to open the doors. This is a full-on registration...email/phone/etc. Shouldn't be needed and now I'm already getting fresh new spam! Yay! House rules: Don't use laundry room, it's unsafe. Oh but if you need to clean something, go ahead and use the laundry! OK, now the house. I WISH I could post pictures. I will send them to VRBO as a complaint. But here's my list: Whole house was musty, smelled of dog. Kitchen counter tile has MOST of the grout missing...can't be cleaned and its disgusting! Toaster in cupboard FILTHLY! Greasy front, I wouldn't even take it out of the cupboard. Kitchen drawers FILTHY and full of junk. Stove top dirty. Refrigerator dirty and broken in multiple places. Living room furniture a joke: Couch 2/3 normal size, "sofa bed actually a rock-hard ultra-cheap Walmart futon, and a HAMOCK! (No I'm not kidding!)_ All closets FULL of junk/cluttered/YUCK. Holes in wall and baseboard. Paint in horrible condition EVERYWHERE! Floors in two places were in total disrepair. Tiles shifted/unstuck and unsanitary. Shower soap dispenser NASTY! Both beds small and uncomfortable. Cheap thin Ikea type mattresses and frames. Finally, "smart" thermostat reset to 78 during the night, upstairs was STEAMING HOT! Both nights.

Don’t do it!
The neighborhood itself was decent. However, before going to the property I was required to download an app to access the garage which I feel was time consuming, but be that as it may. Upon arriving to the property my 2 daughters and I went inside to check things out. We did as was instructed and took off our shoes. Upon entering the second floor the putrid odor of urine became overwhelming. We knew this property hosted pets but did not expect this. Once we opened the door to the first room the odor became nauseating. The second room appeared okay. When my youngest went downstairs and sat on the futon to put on her shoes we discovered it was broken because the leg slid out from underneath it. Immediately I contacted the host on the site but received no reply. I am currently waiting for a refund.

Four of us stayed here overnight. We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious this place is. Everything was clean and comfy. Loved the ease of accessing the home. Communication with the owner was prompt and very helpful. The neighborhood is quiet and seemed safe. Overall great stay for what we needed.

Convenient Location to Naval Training Center.
It needs some repairs but all in all is roomy and comfortable. Not far from the Naval Training Center, Stores, and Restaurants.

House is located in a nice neighborhood, house vents were a little dusty for allergies and could use more cooking utensils like frying pans but beds were comfortable and overall clean in the house.

Just an overnight stay
We came to this house for an overnight stay for a concert in Wakegan. The owner was very attentive. The place was pretty clean and cozy. It was pretty quiet considering it is a townhouse. Awesome water pressure in the shower. Would definetly stay here again.
