Late check in, friendly service. Room adequate for 3 adults, however, only 2 cups, 2 towels and 1 pack biscuits in the room... IHG member 483592867 was told points would be added when I checked out ,so fingers crossed

Excellent service, accommodating to our son (ASD) with a quiet hotel room and also conservatory space during our restaurant meal. Attention to detail was excellent from staff. Nice quiet pleasant location, just what we needed.

The hotel staff were very nice, however the carpet in my room 222 was dirty and needing replaced , the bath tap dripped all night and the seats in the lounge again needed replaced. The only problem was finding the hotel in the dark very badly signposted took us 3 attempts to find the hotel

Lovely clean hotel and very friendly staff. The bed was soft and not very comfortable as we rolled together or had to sleep on the edges. There were a few workmen at the hotel who went out early, waking us up but overall a pleasant stay.

We stayed as a family of 4 for 2 nights. The beds were extremely comfortable (two double beds in a family room, not a sofa bed) and the hotel was easy to find and convenient for Chester zoo. We did have noisy guests next to us on the first night but in all fairness to the hotel, we raised this with staff who not only swapped us to a very quiet room for our second night but did so happily and without any fuss. We slept extremely well the second night and found the breakfast and dinner at the hotel to be nice food, with a good choice for all family members so that was excellent. Staff were helpful and friendly. The children enjoyed the pool on site (you need to book a slot but it’s free for hotel guests). All things considered a great hotel for families with children wanting a base to explore Chester.

Not brilliant. There was a wedding on when we arrived so there was no parking to start with. Cars were parked up and around the front of the hotel making it difficult to turn around to find a space. Had to park in the overflow car park in the end. Dinner in the hotel was dreadful. we order two pizzas and a gammon. The pizzas were awful, frozen options defrosted and overcooked. The gammon was ok but overly salty. We asked for garlic bread and an extra drink and 20 mins after our dinner arrived I had to ask where these were. Then they brought out a different garlic bread to what we ordered. After complaining they did not charge for the pizzas, but the service was very poor during dinner. Breakfast however was a totally different set of staff so different experience. The room as OK, but we had an adjoining room next to us who were extremely loud and woke us up talking at 5.30am. We were also right be the lifts so heard everyone coming and going. The doors are not heavy enough to block out the noise. Overall OK, but would not recommend and would not stay again.

Great choice
We booked this hotel because it was convenient to Cheshire oaks outlet .We found the hotel facilities and rooms to be top class also the staff were so helpful with any of our requests as we had a small baby with us also a great breakfast choice would stay here again .

A very pleasant stay after a day shopping at Cheshire Oaks. Comfortable and warm with a nice bar and restaurant. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. It was our second stay but not likely to be our last!

Great !! Stayed 3 nights and bed remain each day ( no creased sheets etc) VERY unusual and most welcome. Debbie at restaurant ( team leader) offered exception customer service, profession, friendly, gave advice re places to see and do, helpful with selecting breakfasts. 5* service. Well Done

Great place to stay lovely and quiet area m. The hotel is close to local amenities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Beds comfortable and room clean and tidy lovely shower. Have stayed before and would definitely stay here again.

A lttle disappointing given the cost.
Hotel was okay, a little dated in terms of the rooms, bathroom. The windows could have done with a clean. We used the stairs instead of the lift and the stairwell could have done with some air freshener and a clean. Not a huge choice on the evening menu, food was okay. Breakfast was a little disappointing as only had one choice of coffee and that was filtered. A little expensive for what we had. Wouldn’t stay again. Staff were lovely though, and the pool was lovely.

Excellent staff and convenient location for a visit to Liverpool also easy car parking and lovely bedroom. The swimming pool was very good clean and warm . The staff at the swimming pool were really helpful.

This is one of our favorite hotels of all time. It's in the center of a historical boat dock and canals, with water all around. The staff is welcoming, and the breakfast is excellent!!
