Parking is a very big problem here, if you are lucky you might get 3 cars in the car park, 4 at a pinch, it is not allocated just a free for all including day staff, this represents a huge first world problem for one or two cantankerous guests who are incapable of walking an extra foot or so to their door and like to tailor make their stay beyond other guests, plus a staff member who likes to leave silly notes on cars and knocks on doors asking people to move them. Who allows their staff to bother the guests? I gave the motel owner the note and the excuses and lies just poured out. He was incapable of dealing with this and his lack of professionalism and experience showed. We found him to be very petulant and whiney, it is logistically impossible to park every guest’s car in the car park if the motel is full, who has ever heard of a motel with no parking! Later on in the week he denigrated me over this because he still had not dealt with the matter. I am not going to write what he said here because I simply cannot stoop to that level and I really cannot be bothered to recount the abuse from some silly irrelevant and petulant man.
We had gone through Wotif/Expedia for this booking, which makes us their customer and not the motel owners. After recounting the whole weeks scenario to them they gave us a very sizeable refund for the trouble I had suffered and were pretty shocked at the abuse I got.
