This small hotel was lovely. The location is remote, but it’s a perfect base for traveling all around this part of Tuscany. The breakfast was wonderful -well worth the extra charge. We had dinner at the property one evening.The setting is beautiful and the food was excellent. The front desk staff was very helpful with anything we needed. I would come here again.

Heaven in Tuscany
Oh wow, perfect vacation and a real Tuscany atmosphere, the hotel is a magical old yet perfectly renovated property, the room was amazingly clean and equipped with everything we needed, the pool was open until 8pm and it’s never crowded, very peaceful area, almost like a fantasy movie, breakfast was great, especially the cheese , local pastries and coffee , the staff was lovely, very friendly and helpful, but the real deal was DINNER , I cannot say enough about the food and wine they make, everything is fresh and cooked to perfection, we had dinner there every night, you can even see the sunset while eating, BEAUTIFUL !! We highly recommend this hotel , thank you a million times for a perfect vacation 🙏

This property has great a great pool and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast at the hotel and both were very good.

The pictures of this property were so deceptive and it is not a castle in anyway. It’s a small property with a few rooms. The suite that they gave me was two bedroom, two bathroom, big spacious rooms but had a strong musty moldy smell. The best part of a stray was the breakfast the next day.

Dear Sir, thank you very much for your review.The photos you are talking about may not be of our structure as we do not have a castle but a farmhouse, a farm dating back to 1400. Structured like all farmhouses into two structures one the farm and the smaller one the barn. As for the number of rooms, we are one of the hotels with more rooms here in the Chianti countryside and are in fact 28 rooms, If you were looking for a largest hotel with you were not in the correct destination. We regret that your stay was only one night so you could not appreciate all the facilities of our hotel, especially the swimming pool overlooking our vineyards, the restaurant and the jacuzzi area. Hoping to be able to welcome you in a future visit in our country hotel.

The dining/breakfast area on occasions was too small to cater for all the guests, especially as there was a coach party. The property and location were wonderful, the office and breakfast staff were nice and extremely helpful.

What a wonderful experience. The hotel is in the middle of the mountains and was serene and beautiful. The rooms are so quaint and clean , felt like we were back in time...the views stunning ! Sit by the pool at sunset with wine, its a sight to be seen..They do serve a nice dinner too that was good and atmosphere even better...The staff was amazing..esp the two young bartenders that filled my wine glass high at my request !! all the reception girls were so nice and so helpful....Nadia, Chrstinian and Yurra I believe were their names....they helped us so much before we arrived too since we were not coming by car and helped us with renting our vespa AND even drove us to go pick it up .....THIS IS TRULY A SPECIAL PLACE and we were so happy to end our Italy trip in this serene beautiful place....

Belvedere di San Leonino is Amazing. Yadda and Nadia are extremely welcoming. They made several recommendations for small towns and wineries to visit. The food at the restaurant is terrific. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. This place should be a 5 star hotel

Very friendly hotel staff. Kept their restaurant open late for us weary travelers. There was no olive oil or wine tasting offered despite the website saying so which was confusing. Not really a farm stay, felt like more. 2-3 star hotel which happened to be in rural country. Did not feel like true agroturismo but the service, safety and quiet property were highlights

This was my favorite place I stayed in Italy. I have been traveling Italy for 2 months and came here for 2 nights. It was magical. The hotel has everything you need, breakfast, lunch and fantastic dinner. I will be coming back!!

My husband and I stayed here for 3 days and really enjoyed our time. This hotel is a total gem and exceeded our expectations. The rooms are spacious and comfortable (with AC). The pool is amazing... being surrounded by the Chianti countryside, vineyards and olive trees is so relaxing. The on-site restaurant is fabulous. We ate there during sunset. The melted pecorino cheese with black truffles was unbelievable! The breakfast buffet is great too. The staff is very sweet and helpful- they helped us arrange an awesome winetasting experience. Ask about Azienda Agricola Rocca and you won’t be disappointed! There’s parking on site, daily housekeeping, all Covid safety precautions helped us to feel safe throughout our stay too. Highly recommend and would return again in a heartbeat.

Amazing old world building on a hill top surrounded by vineyards and olive tree groves with well cared for garden areas, scenic pool and off-street parking. Very good breakfast buffet and dinner. It's one of those rare places you wish you had more time to spend actually hanging around taking in all of the ambiance of the place. Would absolutely stay there again, Very helpful staff and large rooms.

A relaxing stay in a beautiful setting
The hotel is set in the middle of the Tuscan hills and is perfect for a relaxing break. The restaurant is lovely for dinner and the breakfast options are very good. It is well connected to local villages on the heart of Chianti and all of the staff are knowledgeable about the area and what to do. The room was always clean and everyone wis very friendly. A lovely hotel and one that we will be returning to next time we’re in Tuscany.

Excellent Hotel
Wonderful stay, stunning scenery, great buffet breakfast, restaurant on site and beautiful pool for summer. Central location to Siena, San Gimignano. But have to drive to go anywhere outside the hotel, need care to drive at night on windy roads. Great for a 1-2 day stop or if you only want to relax. Would stay again if passing through, but our preference is to stay at a place where we can walk or a very short drive to other restaurants or sites.

By far the best place to stay! Beautiful property and rooms. Staff is exceptional. They help plan your days, provide maps and information with excellent English. Dinner is amazing and breakfast was fantastic. Great value for the money. I highly recommend this place. Wish we stayed longer!!!
