I enjoyed my stay but next time I’ll stay in a room upstairs as every time someone moved the chairs upstairs it was annoying. The restaurant wasn’t great though.

A little bit tired re decor, however comfy bed, aircon worked well and was quiet. Great view. A little expensive…we paid around the same for much classier rooms in other great towns/cities on this trip

The ocean front villa was lovely with a view of the beach and Hinchinbrook Island. The bedroom up in the mezzanine for quite hot. The air conditioner certainly helped but there were no curtains on the windows and the floor creaked terribly. The restaurant and bar was without doubt the best in town. The service was fabulous and the food outstanding. We are there 2 nights out of three. Unfortunately didn’t make happy hour looking out into the beach. Next time…..

found a cabin for us after we showed up as having no booking, said it looked like our booking through Wotif had been cancelled. We had received a booking confirmation etc. from wotif and emails asking about our stay.

Lovely stay in caldwell
Loved the location close to beach side walks and cardwell Spa pools short drive away. The onsite restaurant is excellent.

Lovely place for a stopover.
This is a very comfortable place to stay. Also we had a pizza from the onsite restaurant and it was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

It was a really nice spot across from the beach, room was really clean, bed was the most comfortable bed I've slept on for a long time, will definitely be staying there again

I did a same day booking, looking for a place half way between Alva Beach and Cairns. Great find. I booked a sea view queen and found the room to be rather impressive for the price: clean, well appointed, great view, and a lovely restaurant. While I was only there overnight, I could certainly see a longer stay being enjoyable.

Positioned on the waterfront, this was a great place to stopover. Restaurant onsite is a plus, although not cheap.

This is like some cheap and nasty hooker hotel. Themotel hasnt had any work done to it inthepadt 50yrs, its old an outdated and they have kept wuth that style ensuring there is a grubby ashtray on the tiny outdoor patio table with two chabby chairs. They have put a toaster in the room to consider themselves a motel service, however there are no plates or cuttlery to make a piece of toast. There is bedding for three, but they only provide two towels
