We were so pleased from the moment we opened the door until the time we said goodbye to this amazing apartment. It is in a perfect location in old town of Antibes.
The apartment:
Cleanliness. The apartment was pristine.
The linens were lovely as was the comfort of the bed.
Loved the mirrors. Added light and made getting ready simple. The lighting was also lovely. TV and stations, washing machine, iron, blow dryer , drying rack, A/C units all worked perfectly.
Kitchen:
The kitchen has everything you would require for your stay. Nespresso, pods/tea, microwave, dishes, pots, cooler bag (for day trips to the multiple gorgeous beaches) and a rollator trolly for the market or beach days. Also had two folding chairs and lovely large/fresh beach towels.
The furniture was comfortable and has a double pull out sofa that we didn’t use but would accommodate our teenager on next trip.
There are a few stairs to get into the apartment. (It is on the second floor basically.)
The apartment was quiet and provided a great spot to have a restful nights sleep. The walls must be 20” thick. (Think old chateau).
Micaela has the ideal location on the cote d’Asure. You won’t be disappointed in your stay. Lovely thoughtful details like fresh roses and chocolates, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, first aid kit. Though not all used made me realize that Cathy and Micaela put their guests comforts a priority.
Parking and driving in Antibes.
Best to rent a compact car as parking is tight and limited. We were lucky to get (street) parking right outside the restaurant for 3 days at ~10 euros a day. And then up about 200 m for the additional 3 days at the same cost. If not available she will advise on underground or marina parking at around 25 euro for 24 hours within a 5 min walk.
Antibes was the highlight of our 15 days in France.
We look forward to returning to this charming apartment in this quaint port side of Antibes.
Merci
